  • The Triangle Pose or Trikonasana is a yoga pose that stretches the thigh, core and chest muscles.
This pose has many benefits: It helps with balance and stability, strengthens the core muscles, and is improves spinal mobility.
There are a few common limitations in this pose, mostly due to weak or shortened muscles.
In this video we will go through an anatomical analysis of the active and stretched muscles, discuss common problems and will offer practical adaptations and solutions to these problems.

Thanks! This can help yoga students understand why they dislike certain poses. I’ve had more minor injuries from yoga class (diligently trying to follow instructions) than any other activities.

Yoga is NOT done like in the gym by force. It is done with full awareness, slow movements to the best your muscles and joints can handle. It is done for inner awakening NOT to win any Olympic medals but to win over inner demons so to speak.
      Know your limits, don't push!

Can you make one that shows the body mechanics while shoveling snow? What needs to be stretched to make this a safer activity.
