I have played around with Krita a little bit and that wrap around mode is really nice - definitely saves a few steps compared to Photoshop! I really like how well it paints (and being free helps too lol). I think I've adapted to Photoshop because it's a one-stop-shop when it comes to adding text, photobashing, and picture editing, but Krita is a very powerful tool for sure!
Hi Rick, hard to say without seeing your screen but I have some ideas about what the problem might be. First thought: If the edge itself is hard/solid instead of soft/blurry, that is something you can change under Brush Settings -> Brush Tip Shape -> Hardness (set to 0% for maximum fuzzy). Does that work?
@@rickrivera5274 I do have pressure for opacity turned on in the top menu (I'm using a Wacom drawing tablet). Are you using a drawing tablet with pressure sensitivity?
@@rickrivera5274 Ah good! Hmmm, if pen pressure is turned on and you've tried adjusting hardness already, maybe Photoshop isn't recognizing your tablet's pressure input and is just treating it like a mouse? I know sometimes that happens to me if I plug in my tablet after turning on Photoshop, or if Windows Ink is checked in the Wacom Settings (under calibration, I believe).
Thanks for asking Dmitry! Absolutely, I've uploaded the sand texture to my website store for you (and included the other two most recent textures as well). www.kairosmith.com/store

@@Kairosmith my hardness is at 0% and there are no other settings applied besides Flow 25%. Did you have any pen settings applied for opacity or such?
