Thing's happen. And that's what the inventory is for. It keeps track where the item was damaged at. 🙂

So, I'm already at my duty station and I'm at GTMO, so there is no going off post. I'm also a single soldier, but all I need to know is how to get some property sent here for free though the military

How do you go about your first duty station with dependents? Can you add some leave on your permissive tdy?

Absolutely you can. You get 10 free days then can take what you need.

Does that DLA only apply to dity moves? And when would you get it?

Not entirely sure, and you can get before or after move.

Can I get permissive tdy as a private living in the barracks straight from AIT at my first duty station ?

Permissive tdy is for those that are married or have dependents and are looking for houses or places to live. So single soldiers is a no.

The way I did was to take leave and fly home, grab all your stuff and drive to base.
      Sucks but was easiest way.

@tropicsm3584 You can check 5 bags for free when flying with military orders, and they can weigh up to 100 lbs each. So if you can take leave and get home, and use your orders to fly to your duty station (you'll have to buy the ticket), you can use that to get a lot of your stuff to your duty station.
