Stenographers who write what is known as 'shorthand' shorten words so they can write as
      quickly as one is speaking.
Also in English it is often common to drop words in sentences, as the listener will
know and understand what is being said and meant by the sentence.
This 'dropping and shortening of words' is common in the English language.
In fact both arabic and Latin are pure languages, whereas English is a corrupt language,
though its corruption serves a purpose within 'legal meanings and definitions' which often differ from 'Common Street English' meanings.
One reason why Latin was dropped from the curriculum, and is no longer taught in school.
Not knowing Latin means one will never fully understand the English language, and by virtue of that it dumbs down the people'
Both Latin and arabic were very important and critical in the language of Law and Commerce.

@@andrew_koala2974 I studied shorthand in high school and when I worked in the Middle East, I found it interesting to see "shorthand"-like alphabets. Although I still do not speak Arabic after all these years, I studied the Arabic alphabets and I guess my love for different writings influenced me. Another language which has different alphabets that I self-studied is Georgian.

It would be interesting to what you believe are arab countries.
arab countries are the 'Gulf' States.
There are many countries that speak arabic but are not arab, and arabic
language words entered many other langues. these one could say are 'borrowed words'
found in Turkish. Persian, Kurdish, arabic language is also spoken in Morocco *Maroc
Tunisia and in other African countries but they are not Arab.
The arabic language was acquired during the expansion of Islam.
Both Spanish and Maltese also share arabic language words and a great part of
      the culture, music and genetics.
Even English has words that originate from arabic.
arabic language has also been taught in High School as a second language in England for well over a decade.
A;so of note is that Persian has 4 extra characters that do not exist in the arabic language alphabet because the Persian sounds do not exist in the arabic language,
Persian also shares words with French, and German also borrows words from Persian, which
have its origin in Sanskrit, and from German the words leaked into English.
Linguistics is a complex and interesting subject -- And it all leads to Phonecia-
From where we get the word 'Phonetics' and 'Phone' - such as Telephone... Phonograph and the word 'Alphabet'

Ya Maha I don't know why TH-cam recommended your video to me, as I am an Arabic speaker! But I saw the word 'genitive' and was curious, as I have been studying Russian and their cases have stumped me causing me to hesitate to converse in Russian! I'll share a secret with you that I share with my Arabic friends who have studied Russian & it's, "When speaking Russian, if you think in Arabic, then your sentences will come out correctly!" They usually laugh, but then when they think about it, they agree with me! Your lesson here has helped me finally figure out how to work with the Russian 'genitive'. I am so grateful to you for doing this video. Your passion and the way you taught it was great. Love your energy! I believe Arabic has a few other cases, so I hope you'll teach those too. Russian has 5 cases: Accusative, Dative, Prepositional, Instrumental, Genitive.

I took many Arabic courses finishing an Arabic Grammar Book called Aajrumiyah, Arabic Morphology, and now taking an Arabic Literature course from different eras. I learned texting in Arabic but needs more practice from conversation. I knew Maha’s lectures long time ago. I’m back to Maha’s lectures again.
For me Maha is the best teacher and she loves teaching from the bottom of her heart.
