From what I gatter, they are mad at Lucas for those "learn how to shoot a pistol in 10 minutes" video and "how to shoot a rifle in 10 minutes". If people can learn the basics in 1 video, how will these instructors that stretch lessons with teatrics have a job?
None of them are mad at Lucas, all these guys have a lot of the same thoughts and ideas about shooting and how bad most of the instructor community is because of what they teach and how little they actually teach about shooting skills and techniques and how they sell their military experience and “tactics” instead of the hard skills
@@DocHudson420there’s only a finite amount of “basics” involved and can generally be covered in a thorough 10 min video. It’s mastering those skills that takes the time. But I think you could at least learn enough to at least get started and not look like a complete moron at your first class with that same video and a couple of range trips. If you can show up and show at least proper manipulations and muzzle awareness you’ll be way ahead.

You can learn how to do anything on TH-cam. This is just a generational difference in learning styles.

There’s a lot more basics than can be covered in 10 minutes
