  • Crunchy, salty peanuts and a peanut butter caramel filling combine to create a tasty treat!

    INGREDIENTS
2 cups (292g) of coarsely chopped peanuts,
2 1/2 tablespoons of unsalted butter
1 10 oz (284g) bag of peanut butter chips
1 14 ounce (397g) can of sweetened condensed milk
2 cups (86g) of miniature marshmallows
    DIRECTIONS
Line the 8x8 pan with parchment and hit it with some cooking spray.
Pour half of the peanuts into the pan, spread them out evenly, and set it aside
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and peanut butter chips.
Stir until everything is melted and smooth.
Then add the sweetened condensed milk and marshmallows.
Stir until everything is melted and smooth.
Pour the mixture over the peanuts, then sprinkle the remaining peanuts over the top of the candy.
Place a piece of parchment over the peanuts and lightly press them into the candy.
Put it in the fridge until firm. I let mine sit overnight.
Cut the candy into whatever size pieces you’d like.

Awesome! Can you do this with just peanut butter or just chips?

Thanks! I don't see any problem with using peanut butter, but I'd cook it a bit longer to keep it from being too loose. Low and slow, continual stirring, so it doesn't burn. Might take a few tries to get it right. Please let me know if you try it. 😊

How can I firm up inside portion. It’s just too gooey.

I would try putting it back in the saucepan and cooking it a bit longer. Hopefully, that will draw out some of the moisture and firm it up a bit.
