I have heard that Hiya is going to stop making Godzilla figures in the future but I do hope that we can at least get a handful of ToHo characters and maybe some more Monsterverse characters. But Sh Monsterarts is a good company, they just weren't doing well with the Monsterverse in sculpt.
Yes, I have the original Godzilla 54 from sh monsterarts. But I will definitely buy this repaint. For me, it is a perfect example of what a repaint should be. It is the same figure, only in a different color, but it has things that justify buying it. This atomic breath (I refuse to call it a heat ray), the plane, and the base sold me. It may not have improved articulation, but honestly I don't know what could be improved here. The original already had good articulation. Now I just have to wait patiently until February. By the way, I know it's just a dream, but I would like their new Godzilla 2000 to have similar accessories. This is the atomic breath and the flying vehicle (I don't remember what the name of the one from vs Megaguirus l

I have the original first release, and yeah. It has the same issue with the same arm. Honestly surprised it wasn’t fixed on this one.
