It really depends on the RTS to be honest. I'm not that great at RTS like these where your units demand this much attention during battles. But I excel at RTS like Crusader or Supreme Commander Forged Alliance. Where there is an equal focus needed on economy, defensive structures and buildings, AND the units.
Cossack back to 2 war is one of best game i have ever play in 2003.It was cheap and you could do massive army ,also upgrade a lot of armor and weapon 9/10

When Blue destroyed orange army you should be already advancing against him he was out of troops and you dont even had organized platoons to use the moment
Sergui , attacking from behind is an advantage for you and try to focus on military upgrades and buildings ! You are playing cossacks 3 ! You arn't playing stronghold !
Some people might put a low rating on Hoi4 game because it is kinda complicated but you slowly you will learn or you can use commands to make the game easier (fully in Cheatland). I recommend buying it, enjoy your time!

He actually attacked his neighbors early, did not wait for them to properly gather up and got help from red who was telling people not to backstab in an FFA, ffs. Ofcourse blue won they even stopped yellow from simply harrassing not even base killing.
Guess what? I played as Iceland, use the command "annex" and typed a random country, like "annex GER" i became a superpower after annexing europe and africa. Other nice commands found in cheatland.
Hi. Who knows how to keep shooters together in one pack not allowing them to get separated? I mean groups with officers. You have for example 10 groups (120 shooters each) and plus monks. Thus you have a string unit. But when you move them, each groups tends to be separate :(
Unknown Entity I agree Cossacks 2 on pc had 120 men fire ball, then would spend time reloading. You had an officer, drummer, and flag bearer. Losing these men would affect your morale. It looks nice however combat has been sacrificed for speed on battling. Sorry not for me. Sooner play total war games.

Funny that they did not include the Persian empire which was one of the strongest at the time of king Nader. During the time of king Nader (and early Qajar), Persian empire comprehensively defeated the Ottomans, Russians and Mogul empire at the same time. Persia inflicted such a defeat on Ottoman empires multiple times and forced them to seek peace, Russians didn't even try to confront Nader over the Caucasus and just withdrew. Either the developers of the game know nothing about the history or deliberately left out of of the strongest empires contemporary of Ottomans and Russian empire due to ideological and political motivations.
That’s nothing… Unlimited population on, max teams with all friends. Everyone had around 10,000 units each and THAT was a massive war. Surprised our game didn’t crash but it was awesome.

I found the lack of battle tactics, backstabbing and overall any strategy besides camp hill, on mass move and just charge quite lackluster.
The siege at the end was the coolest part. Nice game to watch.

What I do is rush over to a spot that no one took walk a big chunk of and place ALOT of houses and by the wall troop things.
