    Thank you Dr Vinod Babu
For taking time out and giving us such detailed reviewson f6i
I purchased a f6i after seeing your 10 months back detailed review ..
While you had claimed 80 km battery range , you never mentioned ,on peddle assist which mode gives you that range
I have been using f6i from the last six months and in the first month when I was testing out peddle assist the max i got it 38 - 39 on peddle assist one , i have tried all modes of peddle assist , the range never made much of a difference , i am lite weight person ,height 5,9 and weight 60 kgs ,yet never experienced even minimum milege that has been claimed by the company (50 km)!
After six months of cycleing my range remains 37 to 40 on peddle assist mode
Did speak to them(technician) in the first month itself , as per them if the battery shows around 41 on the multimeter the battery is in good condition (photo attched) as clicked by me ,so argument of battery good or bad ends there .The dealer himself is not sure what mileage the battery should give , unless you prove it to him , there is a problem with the product , he just ignores your queries !
I use this cycle minimum of 50 kms every day from last 6 months
The ride quality is smooth even without battery assist
Have not experienced any break down till now (in terms.of motor or battery )
But yes the mileage is a problem , i am really zapped by how you get a mileage of 80 km on throttle mode ,while i am struggling with 40 even now
I see this problem with most electric cycles around , the claimed milega and actual are hugely different .
The company has claimed in the manual 50 km range , but have no where mention ed how , to achieve this range , which mode of peddle assist , on only battery what's the range etc etc
I happen to test the f6i on all mode
    Peddle assist
    And
    Just battery
All terians flat , uphill, down hill etc to check the difference in mileage
As far as service is concerned , it happen on concal with their technician from dealer point , no dedicated person atleast in metro cities
Experience with any brand other than hero cycles could be pathetic in terms of after sales , parts etc hero being the leading brand still struggles on service then what can we expect from the rest
While i would love continueing cycling, but with expensive, after sales at dealer networks , as one would not like to take a e cycle to local mechanical due to technicalities involved , i think in future , e bikes would be prefered over e cycles purely because of the headaches one faces with ecycles in after sales , and after paying premium for a ecycle , companies don't seem to deliver in terms of quality or service
The attitude still remains of a cycle
    Use and throw
But one doesn't understand is e cycle is bought with a 5 year horizon atleast !
After two years whatever parts one buys of e cycle (battery, motor) etc very expensive
And the warranty is just one month , so if any problem happens after one month , you will think twice whether to continue ridding a e cycle , because all e bikes parts are locally available and cheaper .
There is no local cycle mechanic who can fix the e cycle , so you will always go back to the dealer to fix it .
All bloggers who reveiw e cycles talk about specifications , but i have yet not come across bloggers who have given their experience after riding the product for one year , how is the after sales , product durability etc etc
You are the only person, after 10 months of use , now moving away from specifics talking of your actual experience with the product ..
I personally feel in the e cycle space if some will give some service it is hero , rest if the cycle gets spoiled full money goes down the drain , as everyone's fittings of battery, parts molds etc are purposely kept different !
Being living in Mumbai , being a metro city this is the service , i don't know how it would be in smaller towns

Thanks for sharing your thoughts my friend. I understand your passion and pain and I agree with majority of your post. Hero definitely needs to improve after sales service, but no other manufacturer is even close to what Hero is offering, only problem is that price is high, not within reach of majority of Indians. I confirm I used to get 80km aaramse in city in pedalec mode (level 1 or 2 only), used to charge my cycle once in 4 days in beginning Of course this depends on several factors like terrain, riding style, weight, position, etc. Now after 1 year 3 months, I require charging only twice in a month as my fitness has increased greatly. I plan to use cycle as primary means of transport within city at least for next 5 years. There are always hurdles in every aspect of life, all of which can be overcome with grit and motivation.

    • @YUTfan2
      @YUTfan2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@robotvshow3796 F6i is best value for money, it is worth for extra 15k
It comes with Kenda tires which provide super comfort for riding. With all other varients you will get a horse riding feel unless you are riding on a super smooth road.
Battery is not only removable but also double the battery capacity. For exercise purpose you may remove the battery and manually pedal if you wish so. Removing battery reduce the weight of the cycle which is not possible in other varients.
This is the only varient which comes with Shimano altus.
It looks much better than other varients. All components used are in premium category.
F6i comes with 18 inch frame size and kenda 27.5 tyres which will be perfect for most of the riders.
So the real question should be , "are the other variants worth for money when compared to F6i"

    3. Poor After sales service. Today. Tomorrow.
    4. Poor battery. Drains fast after 1 month only.
    5. No additional batteries provided.
    6. No service battery system.
    7.Poor Tyres.
    8. Zero not Hero Cycles.🤣🤣
So in 1st 10 months, if it is giving so much pain/trouble/problems then once the warranry period is over, customer will be fully mad in finding parts and charging batteries now and then.
So it is still better to buy a normal bike with good average of 75000.

It feels like motor is resisting when you peddle fast. For local commuting (around 10 KM to and fro) this product is fine but if you want to go more than that don't buy this one.
