- How to reset or restart the Garmin Venu. In this tutorial, I show you how to not only factory reset the Garmin Venu, but also how to turn it off and on. This can be useful if the watch freezes or is not responding. Resetting the Venu can be useful if it's not working correctly or you want to wipe everything from it so it can be sold. Performing a factory reset on your Garmin Venu will completely remove all user data and user settings. Perform the steps demonstrated in the above video at your own risk.
How to Restart or Reset the Garmin Venu?
How to restart the Garmin Venu:
1. Hold the top right button for 15 seconds.
2. When the Garmin Venu turns off, simply short-press the top right button.
3. The Garmin Venu has now restarted.
How to Factory Reset the Garmin Venu:
1. Hold down the bottom right button to open the Menu.
2. Once the menu opens, scroll down and select the gear.
3. In the settings, scroll down and select Reset.
4. To factory reset your Garmin Venu, select Delete Data and Reset Settings.
5. Your Garmin Venu has now hard reset and will need to be setup.

Thanks for the video. I did Reset Default Settings and it’s been 30 minutes that the device shows only a picture of the watch trying to connect to the Garmin Connect App. Is it normal? Is it gonna take hours until the watch can reset itself?

I have a problem with my Garmin Venu. It seems like the watch face has an embedded or minted lines of another watch face that I've erased and the white color isn't white anymore. No matter which watch face I pick, the lines still there. Do you have any idea hot to fix that up?
Mine is frozen and won't do anything except show the gear with downward arrow showing partial download line. I've turned it off and back on multiple times.

Thanks. I did the full delete data factory reset. It works but it does take at least two hours. You’ll need to remove any credit cards from the app as well.

Hey I have a question why does my Venu watch Numbers always appear?
I have a venu 2. When I first turned on the watch I held the top button longer than I needed to which took me into what looked like a calibration menu, could I have caused anything to change the settings of the watch?

Thanks for the video... I'm having trouble connecting the watch with my phone. after the complete reset / all data delete... I see the icon showing the watch trying to connect with Garmin Connect, but it isn't pairing...
