Tamu is indeed the special one, the "mother" of NEMOPHILA and the first member approached by mayu for the MAYU SESSION band. She learned Piano at a very young age and picked up the drums later (after discovered Nao-chan of course!) then her passion for drumming made her starts her professional carrier as a support drummer in 2007, while she is still pretty much under guidance of Masahiko Noguchi, her drum teacher from Saila Drum School Yokohama - in which she herself now is the drum instructor of that same drum school alongside her mentor. Songs on Tamu Works section are: 1. ROMANTIC AGERU YO (I'll Give You Romance), ending theme song of Dragon Ball cover. It was for her appreciation to FREEZACK (drummer of THE WASTED band - with Freeza costume) and Dainashi (the masked drummer - backing vocals) who supported her solo projects & live concert. 2. SUMMER, her original song, one of the track from her self-produced solo album titled INNOCENT released in Sept. 2017. 3. スーパーD&D ~完全にリードしてアイマイミー~ (lit. Super D&D ~ Completely Leading, I My Me), one of the track from her collaboration single with LADYBEARD titled Super D&D/D Absolutely! released in May 2018. As for the instruments, she also plays 5-strings bass and some other percussion instruments as well. For the solo album INNOCENT, except for the track LUPIN III theme (rearrangement only), Tamu composed all songs by herself. Yes, she wrote all the lyrics and music from bass to guitars, piano to xylophone and everything in between. Although she did everything, became composer to producer, she mentioned that she did not dare to ride that 'blue Harley-Davidson' shown on the cover of INNOCENT 😆🤘🏻
Absolutely yes! Tam is something else, and NEMOPHILA is a super group born of 5 people who are something else. That's why I am recommending Saki's solo project "Brightness" lol Thanks for the great reaction! As always.🇯🇵👍
You'll always be surprised with japanese musicians hidden talents - about Nemophila, Mayu can play keys and drums (I'll send you a link). Tamu started on piano, before drums. She's self-taught on saxophone (she made a video about it, from day 1 till she was able to perform live). I don't think they showed her playing bass but guess what ... she does (of course!). Amazing lady.
Tamu, Hazuki, and Saki have each stated that the first time they played before an audience was on piano, when they were young and learning piano, at recitals organized by their teachers. (It's common for piano teachers to have their students play before family, friends and/or the general public.)
Tamu-san is a legit musical polymath. While drums are her best instrument (and she's world-class...), she plays several others well enough to take that role in a pro gigging band. Mad respect.
Tamu was a drummer with a very well-known solo career for several years before forming NEMOPHILA. That's why the members, including Nao, were surprised and welcomed it. Various Japanese celebrities attended this venue, and it is clear that Maximum the Hormone is loved.
Even before Nemophila, Tamu was one of the most sought after session drummers in Tokyo. She played in projects ranging from Jazz, Pop and Fusion. She was also a drum instructor and also toured Asia doing clinics as an ambassador for Tama drums. She also was in a project that created music for multimedia like anime and video games. As for Saki, shes in all the videos for Mary's Blood including "Marionette", which I think is the one you reacted to. Hazuki's old band Disqualia has a few videos as well as the Lisa X Band which she also played in. Also, shows her chops on Vai like instrumentals on a few Ibanez promo videos for her signature guitars. I created a playlist with over 250 videos that has a ton of Nemophila related content outside of whats on their page and it has all these videos I'm mentioning. Video's of band members in other projects, interviews, live shows etc. Its on my page in playlist under "The Nemophila Life". I also collected similar content for Lovebites if you're interested. I'll try to pull a few and add links if I can. YT is sometimes funny with that.
Muratatam can do it all. As a drummer she makes metal drumming look so easy. Her own channel is a treat as well. She has lots of little goodies on there.🐸🐸🐸🐸🐸
The one video with Tamu singing was from a collaboration with Ladybeard (with the long blonde hair and beard). Their video for this song is worth a watch. He is a very interesting person. He is a professional cross-dressing heavy metal vocalist, martial artist, stuntman, wrestler from Australia. He stays busy. He was previously in a group call Ladybaby, and now in a group called Deadlift Lolita, made up of Ladybeard and a female professional wrestler/bodybuilder. Stories like this is the kind of stuff that makes people love Japanese music. The song with Tamu is called むらたたむ&レディビアード「スーパーD&D ~完全にリードしてアイマイミー~」(web size version).
Rock/Metal bands everywhere are like, "Why can't we have a smiley drummer too?" Probably because their drummer is A) Drunk B) Drugged C) At the Police Station D) Fighting with the Singer/Guitarist/Bassist/ other Guitarist E) In a perpetual bad mood. Every drummer now hates me.....
Sir, YES!!!! The guitarist you loved in your Mary’s Blood Marionette reaction is the same Saki from Nemophila, just around 10 years younger. Sorry Tamu-San (Sama), this is your reaction video. I deleted my previous comment for an error, so here’s a short revisit. There are many fabulous drummers in Japan, but this young lady is by far my personal favorite. Her smile is just so damn infectious! Sorry, I really shouldn’t highlight her smile, or extremely charismatic personality. That might appear to minimize her skills on the surface. This is one seriously talented musician on many instruments, but a goddess on the drums. I love my life and wouldn’t change it, but Akira-San is one lucky husband. ❤️🥁
Tamu is the senior member of Nemophila, due to her having the greatest experience in the Japanese music industry. She has been in high demand as a session drummer in Rock/Metal and Jazz for many years. All the members, except Hazuki, are in their 30's. Nemophila is not their first "rodeo". As to Mary's Blood, founded in 2011, with Saki joining from Destrose. A top band almost from the beginning, they are now on a hiatus. Mainly due to Saki going to Nemophila. Saki was also the main song writer for Mary's Blood.
Mary's Blood was formed in 2009. Saki is senior to Tamu in both age and experience as a band musician. Saki first played in a professional band in 2009 (or maybe 2007-8), Tamu in 2011.
My favorite vocalist is Suzuka Nakamoto, a.k.a. Su-Metal, with Mayu being a razors edge second. Very different vocal styles. Su-Metal turns 26 today (20 December). Mayu turned 26 a few weeks ago (late November). It appears that most people don’t realize how close in age the two are. Yes, Haraguchi-San is 26 by around six months. Hazuki (love her) is 28 (possibly 29) off the top of my head. Tamu recently turned 31 and Saki recently 33 along with Miyako. They may hate me for stating ages. Saki performed in the US (at least Houston) many years ago with Mary’s Blood. Tamu also performed in the US years ago. I don’t know her earlier days that well, but I believe it was with Tama drums (I’m tired and forget the name) perhaps Kansas City at minimum.
@@outwest1014yes Tamu is the most senior among the band members in music industries (2007) and SAKI also mentioned that she looked up to Tamu as a more superior 'celebrity' than her... but when it comes to playing in a professional BAND, SAKI is the most senior with DESTROSE in 2009. Tamu's first carrier as a band members was in 2011 with SORAMIMI. Hazuki is next with DISQUALIA in 2015 while mayu made her debut as a full-fledged professional band member as Sindy with LIPSTICK in January 2017. Haraguchi-san involved in many bands since her high school days with her first high school band FUNAMUSHI, but in a professional band as full time member, she is the same as mayu, which is January 2017 with HöLDERLINS. Edit: ...and that is why despite Tamu's seniority, when it comes to BAND "management", SAKI is the obvious choice as the leader of the band.
Well done for looking into the back stories and learning about the band member's. You might also look at Hazuki and Saki doing the young guitar magazine showing how to play Oiran and Revive .Then there is also Shred racers online where you will find some gems where several artists Collab with some cool covers . Saki Mayu from Nemophila D-drive etc feature along with others + interviews with subtitles .
Nao has influenced so many of today's female Japanese drummers. Akane of Band-Maid was also influenced by Nao to play drums.

You got it! And thank you as always for your continued support! 🫡👍
haraguchis old band “Holderlins” has some pretty good songs, it’s not very heavy but I still like it
Check out "Right Now" by Diqualia. Hazuki rocks blonde hair. Also features Destrose/Lonesome Blue guitarist, Narumi.

song Baby Shark on her channel and the process of her learning the technique of playing bass...Tamu is a bit like Hana from Gacharic Spin 🙂

The IDOL drummer for Murata Tamu(Nemophila) and AKANE(Band-Maid)
Japanese musicians they can play all kind of music instruments.....

Tamu being the senior in the band is from Saki. Tamu has more experience working in the music industry.@@OtobokeGaijin6218

SAKI PERFORMS WITH LISA X AND EDDIE IRONBUNNY IN A MUSIC VIDEO. 3 GREAT GUITARISTS.
You can put Ryo in a suit but he's still nuts.
"Koi no American" now has official subtitles! Please react again! ❤
and the next song is "bikini sports ponchin" 👍👍
Listen to “Johnny Tetsu pipelll” from Maximum The Hormone, you will have your expectations very satisfied once more😎
🔥🔥
Saki was in the one vid you reacted too earlier. She tore up the place in "Marionette". I love seeing her let loose!
