Perfect lesson like always thank you so much you are the Best teacher i realy enjoy your lessons and learn from them i wish it never finish thanks again mand 🙏❤️
Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge! i love your tutorials. You have pushed my skills up by more than 50% and it's like you always say: observation ability increases with practising. Your english is first class and though you are speaking very quick it easy to understand for a foreign listenener. Thanks again
Absolutely love your tutorials. Great content. Can we see you camera set up and studio. I have issues with videoing my paintings and can't to find a comfortable set up. Thanks again.
thanks man. I don't use anything fancy, just a tripod (manfrotto) and a mirrorless camera (Nikon z5 with 24-70mm lens) off to the left of the painting which is mounted vertically to a wall. A lot of light and filming at a wider aperture like f4 or more is very helpful.
You are so right about the LUPO paper. I bought a big size when it was on sale because it reminded me of the Dru Blair paper which is plain out amazing for airbrushing, but comes at a steep cost per sheet. LUPO when I erase on it leaves very bright spots which are really hard to blend in so they aren't noticable.
Hey brother Mark, You Said like 50 drops of illustration Orange. And I believe maybe 10 to 15 drops of Blue. Okay when I airbrushed my eye it didn’t look nothing. Like the color of your eye. Is it because my Canvas is all white. And that throws the color off. It didn’t look like your pretty brown eye. Thanks brother Mark!!!🎣🎣🎣
These portraits are huge. Whats the smallest you've done airbrushing. I always wondered how so much detail could be done, and see its because of the large size. Do you have a gallery of your works? Thanks
i absolutely love how u say and use the black color pencil for eyebrows or eyelashes...its so hard for me to airbrush that small even with my micron...in the end the final product is key im assuming🙏🏾
Howdi. I've been watching you for a while now and your skills are on a next level. One thing I don't get is that your portraits, although very detailed, the skin is monochromatic. In life however, I don't see monochromatic skin. What am I missing? Kind regards
A good point & observation. It's probably because I come from a drawing background and prefer a more subdued/monochrome look. It's just a preference I suppose.
Hi great lesson am just wondering do you use photoshop to get your hi quality pictures. Am looking for a picture for a project but when enlarged the definition is lost and looks very grainy. I havnt any software at moment. Thanks Darran.
software isn't going to help a grainy/low res image. photoshop is for compiling and editing, but you can use it to restore if you are skilled at it. A good camera (nikon z5) & lens (nikkor Z 24-70 f4) is what I use. For reference images for painting lessons, I buy them through my subscription with adobe stock.

Hey again brother Mark, I’m gonna go back and recount. The 50 drops of illustration, orange, 10-15 drops of Blue. Then I hope that I get the same outcome you did. With the pretty brown eyes. I watch your video 1 easy trick to cleaning your airbrush. I will get me some Spray bottles I have bunch of distilled water. I use a percentage alcohol, a percentage, Windex cleaner and a percentage distilled water for cleaning my airbrush. I got it off of TH-cam. I hope that is OK. I’m airbrushing an eye everyday it takes me up to about 3 hours. I’m getting much, much better not where. I truly wanna be, but. I’m getting better brother Mark. I stay at it because I want to be as good as you brother. I have problems with getting the eyes. To look the colors I want them to look. But I guess mixing colors exactly as the reference will come with time. Take Care Brother Mark!!!🎣🎣🎣
I'm very happy to hear this Michael! There is no better way than to do what you're doing by practicing like that. That's what I do as well, just keep painting and trying to learn and improve. You got this!!

Hi, great channel. can you upload the reference photo of this portrait and the other one you have, so we can follow your tutorial?

I find any synthetic paper erases too easily. A layer or 2 of gesso just makes it so much more forgiving.
So you can gesso the LUPO paper?
Sensacional! Técnica perfeita! Parabéns, excelente arte!
Superb thank you

How do you apply gesso ? What brand do use ? Can you spray it out of an airbrush ?
He has a great gesso tutorial in his playlist mate.
