That’s so creepy! My aunt had a stalker when she was 17 he was apparently watching her for 3 years, one day he decided it’s time to take her, but my uncle was there and he took down the stalker. The police came and they found a knife, video camera, condoms, and a strong drug (I forgot which one). Thank god my uncle was there, they are now 48 years old and living happily.

That's what I thought because there are so many stories where this happens or they got kidnapped and they fall in love and it turns out to be Stockholm Syndrome.

True, but I don't think she can think clearly because remember her self-esteem is pretty low, so she would probably think that this what she deserves (which is untrue, because nobody deserves this). She would probably feel pressured by the fact she already has a child (she might not be confident to be a single parent or maybe she would feel guilty for not giving the child a father), no job, as well as the lockdown and continue to stay with him. It would be best if she had therapy and support from her friends and family while filing a divorce with him. More importantly, she should move out with her child. Not the mention her husband said that he helped his brother get engaged. I think she should tell the brother's fiancee about this early, because again, nobody deserves this and its best to prevent it before it's too late.

This is psycho level scary. I have never even heard of any woman being manipulated this much to be with someone! A judge would soooo award her a protective order/restraining order against him, a divorce, alimony until or if she remarries and child support for those kids. The law would protect her and the kids from him and force him to support them from afar. She needs to do this right away and also tell that other chic that just got engaged what kind of gross underhanded and even illegal “tricks” her husband taught that gal’s new fiancée to use against her!

I've been stalked by a guy that wanted us to be a couple. I really didn't know him at all and he pretended to be his own friends and stuff to get me to agree. I called the police, but all they said was I needed evidence and when I tried to go back to our chat and screenshot the chat, it was gone and all I had was a text saying that he was a friend of him and that he wanted me to get together with his friend. No real evidence. Now I screenshot every weird and strange conversation I get with someone.

It took me a while to figure out what to write in this comment because I was honestly just speechless for a while. This extends FAR beyond "creepy." This is psychological abuse, gaslighting, and narcissism taken to an incredible new extreme. This man has manipulated this woman to a point that he has completely wrecked her self respect and self esteem. It is painfully obvious that after going through such traumatic experiences on these fake "dates," she now believes that she needs to stay with this man because "no one else will ever like/love her as much as he does" or "care for her enough to go that far out of their way to date her." The signs she is displaying are essentially textbook examples of Stockholm Syndrome. He is her captor and he has psychologically manipulated and abused her to a point that she feels that she is meant to be with him or that she could never find a better relationship than what he provides. I feel so heartbroken for this woman. She needs to get out of there and divorce him right away, but she needs to be extremely cautious and involve the police in doing as much because I truly believe that her husband is a sociopath.
