I’m an infant in studying Isaiah but I am so grateful for brother Gileadi. As a lifelong member of the LDS church I wanted to love the scriptures but I only seemed to struggle with them. The differing opinions on the meaning of scriptures were often contradictory and made me feel unqualified to understand scripture. Using the tools at Isaiah Institute to understand how Jewish prophets wrote prophesy I was able to see for myself what they were trying to teach us. I finally could do it myself. And it opened all scriptures up to me and I finally began to love scripture and love digging for the treasures there. Please thank brother Gileadi for me. I’m so sad when I see online chats where people will ask others opinions of brother Gileadi’s books and so many dismiss them as theoretical at the same time championing other theories. They turn people off from true study methods that allow you to see for yourself what God’s prophets are saying. Isaiah Made Simple is where I started and it changed my life!

Love this. My brother is skeptical when I try to talk about the end times with him. His response to me sharing is "I'll figure it out when it happens". I've not been able to convince him otherwise yet. The more I learn about the end times the more I realize that physical preparedness and a loose understanding of the gospel will be insufficient in its own. I liked how Avraham stated that the book of Mormon prophets and heroes are those that are living the full gospel. Too often we treat these people in scripture as the exception instead of what we should strive for. It seems to me if we cannot exercise faith like the prophets of old we will be unprepared.

@@reppi8742 You can make the same exact covenants without the walls of the temple. You don't have to make a covenant with God by signs, and tokens and names as in the way our temples do it. All the people in Jesus day went to the temple openly and all went to teach and listen and to praise. They didn't close the doors and do the things that we do now. Even after Christ's death and resurrection the apostles healed the lame man at the gate then they all went in. After they went in others IN the temple received the gospel where previously they didn't, all because of gospel preaching and praying and hearing because of the Holy Ghost. It wasn't just for members that's for sure. It was a place for learning for all. Just because we call the temple a temple doesn't mean we honor the same way Jesus did. In this podcast Avraham mentions the covenants that we make and the one temple that Christ will come to. Listen again carefully.
Brother Gileadi made a huge difference in my understanding of Isaiah and other scriptures over 30 years ago and I will be forever thankful for the deeper understanding that I have gained.
For the last 15 or so years, I've read all of Isaiah at least once a year. And then in between I try to learn more so that I can understand it better. This video is being watched (and re-watched!) in that light. Thank you for putting it up, so we that are benighted can gain understanding.😊
I’m currently a student at BYU nearing the end of my bachelor’s degree. There is a falling away among students and peers of mine. It’s as if the woke agenda has glazed over their grasp on the reality of the world. I’ve heard professors preach the woke agenda too many times in any class related to sociology. Many of my peers don’t wear their garments. Many attend church part time and are urgent to make as much money as soon as they can get out of school. No one realizes the lack of righteousness among us. We are part time religious folk and full time blind leading the blind and indulging in the confusions and distractions of Babylon. I’ve seen missionaries from my very own mission turn completely away from the gospel and embrace their quirks or weaknesses, coming out as gay or lesbian or showing an abandonment of the gospel. One thing that absolutely baffles me is the attitude of ignoring the messages in music, tv shows, and social media as if they aren’t damning and destructive. I feel like I am a cog in this wheel, struggling to keep myself clean while desiring to repent and turn away from my sins. I am firm in my seeking repentance from my iniquities that also exist among my generation, but I’m also saddened that these peers and friends don’t recognize the weight of some of those iniquities. I have felt the Spirit work in me these last several years warning me of future events and urging me to become better. It’s been coming in waves. I sometimes feel as if I shouldn’t speak up against the evils that surround us because I struggle to rid myself of some of them despite enormous efforts and constant prayers for deliverance. I trust in God and that he will help me to be an instrument to anyone in my life. I trust that through firmly taking hold of the iron rod, urgent and meaningful prayer, and striving upward in my discipleship I can reach the standards set forth in the BoM, which I feel like no one understands. They are so much further than my generation in the church strives for and the sad thing is that I don’t think any of them see that.

Yes I read through the Book of Isaiah and felt that most of it was talking about America and it's destruction due to not serving him or keeping his commandments very eye opening to me then I kept reading Jeremiah and Ezekiel I feel both those books Re also very applicable. Love the Lord.
I could listen to this for hours and hours. Wonderful discussion about the great fulfillments of prophecy that lie ahead! (Despite what lies ahead for our nation, and even members of our church, if we don't repent and come to literally know the Savior and have His name upon us.)
as you said in another video, these deeper things cannot be talked about in sunday school. i thought it was just me. i know of the wards i’ve been in there are not but few that have a deeper perspective. someone told me years ago that general conference, and i have since added sunday meetings, are for the masses. and truly precept upon precept. and since new disciples are continuously entering the fold, teachings are generally “kindergarten” thru “elementary school”. anything above that requires personal, maybe couples and older children, to take upon themselves deeper research and study. not just scriptures but thru good books as instructed, and highlighted in this video. i myself have taken also to studying the human condition. by watching programs ive seen the myriad of struggles throughout the world. what drives people and their behaviors. i have concluded so far this is important in becoming spiritual parents. so while we are to pay attention to the conditions of this estate, we are to learn and grow for the next estate, also requiring another form of deeper knowledge, if that makes sense. but it is truly a lifetime of effort and not taking for granted the basic rituals, as mentioned in this video. also said here, this requires a removal of earthly distractions i chose years ago to do myself. i cannot see it done otherwise. so much i’ve learned on my own i am finally finding others. it has taking a long time. so much to say …. :) (edited only for typos)
Randy, I enjoy your videos and studying the Book of Isaiah is one of my goals. I don't know if it's just my husband and myself but we sometimes have a hard time understanding Avraham's words. The pronunciation isn't always clear! Don't know if you can re explain what he is saying or something like that so it's clearer!

The biggest obstacle to understanding Isaiah is that he is saying things that the LDS believe cannot be true. He is saying things about the church leadership and organization that the church membership believe cannot be true, which is a handicap they’re under largely because the church and its leaders perpetuate these precepts of men. I’m sorry, but it’s true. I am a lifelong member and remain passionately committed to the truth of the gospel and the Restoration.
That’s the definition of trusting the arm of flesh, most members are asleep and relying on the arm of flesh. If they don’t wake up they won’t know what’s coming our way. The Book Of Mormon warns us about all these events but the members and leaders divert those warnings to non members which is a big mistake.
@@FFM115 It is sad and frustrating. It's so obvious, at least once you see it you can't unsee it. It's very sad. People dismiss you as apostate, but it's absolute madness. I LOVE the gospel. I LOVE the Book of Mormon. Most of all I LOVE Christ. I am not apostate. You have to consider what president Nelson has said about " the greatest miracles the world has ever seen" and "Priesthood POWER." We will need to put our TRUST Wholly upon the Savior and His power and leave behind our dependencies on the solutions of telestial men.

Isaiah 43:2...he had just talked about translation. This is how it does not affect the body and live, which cannot happen if direct covenants are not made with God which means going through the descent (hardships) and then ascent (humble follower). And this is not the temple when you hear the word covenant this is from your heart to His.

The Lord’s “hand” coming forth has various fulfillments, but, when the reference is made to the “mouths of the prophets concerning the last days,” the prophet Joseph was likely referring to the prophecies of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc. . The prophet Joseph understood the words of Isaiah. He quoted Isaiah many times in his writings. Your own personal study of Isaiah will help you to understand these things. 😊
I'm thankful for the Isiah teachings. I do have to disagree on timing. We are seeing Constitution in Peril, and the Saints will stand up. America is going to be humbled greatly but the destruction won't come yet but will soon.

While listening to this, the thought came to me, that as Moses delivered the people out of Egypt, Jesus will deliver His people in the last days- and there will be a period of suffering like before Israel’s deliverance- but the saints will be sustained like the children of Israel were in the trouble that descended on Egypt
I've never heard Dr. Gileadi really explain where he thinks the lost 10 tribes are. If he discussed it here I missed it. I emailed him once to ask his opinion on Michael Rush but he didn't respond. I'd really be interested to learn his opinion on what Michael Rush proposes about the lost tribes and how he thinks they fit in to everything.
I believe that is because Abraham’s in-depth study /research is Isaiah. Which he has felt called upon to uncover. Not the book of enoch. Also his motto is if you can’t show it, don’t say it. So he is careful to not put his own spin on scripture.
I can't speak for him, this is only my opinion: the lost tribes are scattered throughout the earth. Many have gathered in the USA and many, as we see, have made the move to Israel and continue to do so during this war. Jews are called to make Aaliyah. With genealogy and DNA technology many of us are finding we have Jewish ancestry. The hidden tribes are being revealed this way. My Ggrandfather escaped from Russia. I had no idea he was Jewish. He is no longer hidden in the north. He came to the USA but remained hidden, if you will, until I discovered who we are.
Im CONFUSED . The majority of members of Church use the King James Bible. I tried to follow this presentation frm Isaiah with this brother in my bible. But they REALLY DIFFER. I feel many members like me have a GREAT DESIRE to understand Isaiah but we have to all be on the SAME PAGE, ie using same scriptures.

Just look at the Book of Mormon for examples of different one person anti Christs. Hence why in the last days when THE anti Christ comes onto the scene so many people will be deceived even half within our own church.
I wonder if anybody has asked Avraham how he knows that the servant won’t be the prophet or one of the apostles. That’s the question people very first ask me when I tell them about this. Also, when he talks about the exodus like the exodus of Egypt, is that the first exodus with the kings and queens of the gentiles or is that the second part where the 144,000 go out and gather others?

Because the Servant will be one who actually serves God rather than serving Satan by holding hands with the Gadianton robbers. The Servant will speak truth rather than lies.
There areany times that parallel the times of Isaiah. Today is one. The time of the destruction of the 10 tribes and also the destruction of Jerusalem 600 years before Christ. The destruction of the Jaredites and the time before the Savior appeared to the Nephites. Also duriing the last days when the Nephite nation was being destroyed. The Lord qarns his people and warns them again. It is up to us to listen and learn.
21:35 At the time there is a cruel master in America Avraham says the righteous will be delivered and not have to experience all of the calamity, but he doesn't seem to share how one would avoid it. How will the righteous be delivered from all this? I understand that you have to be keeping the commandments but I'm wondering if we know what the deliverance would look like?
@@majanielsen2480 My understanding is that these are the ELECT. They are called out first and become the Kings and Queens. They are the SERVANTS who will gather the House of Israel in power and great GLORY (1 Nephi 14:14). Then they will gather those who repent and ascend spiritually during the tribulations. The key is being in the temple at every possible opportunity. The power that we will receive from those COVENANTS will be miraculous! They will bring up on us the greatest miracles the world has ever seen!

I really love your podcasts and the guests that you feature, you are always in alignment with the gospel. Thank you for having Avraham on and thank you Avraham for sharing your knowledge and wisdom and for paying the price for us to enjoy it with you. I began a study of Isaiah many years ago several times but could never decipher it and then in the last couple of years it started to make sense with what's been going on in the world and THEN I found Avraham on youtube and got some of his books which I'm just now reading, thank you, thank you, I can't wait to continue this journey!!

The biggest obstacle to understanding Isaiah is that he is saying things that the LDS believe cannot be true. He is saying things about the church leadership and organization that the church membership believe cannot be true, which is a handicap they’re under largely because the church and its leaders perpetuate these precepts of men. I’m sorry, but it’s true. I am a lifelong member and remain passionately committed to the truth of the gospel and the Restoration.
That’s the definition of trusting the arm of flesh, most members are asleep and relying on the arm of flesh. If they don’t wake up they won’t know what’s coming our way. The Book Of Mormon warns us about all these events but the members and leaders divert those warnings to non members which is a big mistake.
@@FFM115 It is sad and frustrating. It's so obvious, at least once you see it you can't unsee it. It's very sad. People dismiss you as apostate, but it's absolute madness. I LOVE the gospel. I LOVE the Book of Mormon. Most of all I LOVE Christ. I am not apostate. The fact that's an unpleasant idea does not make it untrue that the the church is a mess and the leadership is blind if not totally corrupt.
@@OmahaAreaLoya that’s normal, the Book of Mormon starts with “Apostate” people being led by God to safety and out of the “Holy” city while those who were loyal to the ecclesiastical leaders faced destruction in Jerusalem.

It sounds like myself and millions of others might be spared some of these things by the fact that life enabling medications will be cut off. I had not considered this very much before.
You have to consider what president Nelson has said about " the greatest miracles the world has ever seen" and "Priesthood POWER." We will need to put our TRUST Wholly upon the Savior and His power and leave behind our dependencies on the solutions of telestial men.
This was a very enlightening podcast. Thank you for helping those of us who see the importance of learning more about the end times. I appreciate what you are doing, and I hope to learn more. I am excited to be able to learn the signs of the times and to know what to look for. I struggle with reading, so I might listen to the scriptures though the gospel library app, and hopefully I can learn what I need to .

Ive really loved your OWN humble, straightfwd presentations of ideas based on words of our Prophet and Apostles using King James Bible. Counsel given in Gen Conf. I would really b more interested in your presentation of code wirds and types Isaiah uses bc scholars go way past where I am.
Isaiah 43:2...he had just talked about translation. This is how it does not affect the body and live, which cannot happen if direct covenants are not made with God which means going through the descent (hardships) and then ascent (humble follower). And this is not the temple when you hear the word covenant this is from your heart to His.

The Lord’s “hand” coming forth has various fulfillments, but, when the reference is made to the “mouths of the prophets concerning the last days,” the prophet Joseph was likely referring to the prophecies of Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, etc. . The prophet Joseph understood the words of Isaiah. He quoted Isaiah many times in his writings. Your own personal study of Isaiah will help you to understand these things. 😊

@@SaySupport i agree. there is much yet to do re missionary work. though it was suggested it may be allocated to others if the chosen (USA?) do not. we might be very behind as assigned and our “punishments”? accelerated while the work continues on elsewhere and by others. i understand in africa there is much gospel spreading and advancement proceeding at a quick pace
Perhaps some of the missionary work will be during the destruction to save any who will come to God while meeting humbled and during the milliuem.

I've never heard Dr. Gileadi really explain where he thinks the lost 10 tribes are. If he discussed it here I missed it. I emailed him once to ask his opinion on Michael Rush but he didn't respond. I'd really be interested to learn his opinion on what Michael Rush proposes about the lost tribes and how he thinks they fit in to everything.

I believe that is because Abraham’s in-depth study /research is Isaiah. Which he has felt called upon to uncover. Not the book of enoch. Also his motto is if you can’t show it, don’t say it. So he is careful to not put his own spin on scripture.

I can't speak for him, this is only my opinion: the lost tribes are scattered throughout the earth. Many have gathered in the USA and many, as we see, have made the move to Israel and continue to do so during this war. Jews are called to make Aaliyah. With genealogy and DNA technology many of us are finding we have Jewish ancestry. The hidden tribes are being revealed this way. My Ggrandfather escaped from Russia. I had no idea he was Jewish. He is no longer hidden in the north. He came to the USA but remained hidden, if you will, until I discovered who we are.
Im CONFUSED . The majority of members of Church use the King James Bible. I tried to follow this presentation frm Isaiah with this brother in my bible. But they REALLY DIFFER.
I feel many members like me have a GREAT DESIRE to understand Isaiah but we have to all be on the SAME PAGE, ie using same scriptures.

@@lindamartinez7006 there absolutely is an anti Christ. He’s known as the Assyrian in Isaiah or the Stout Horn in Daniel. Just look at the Book of Mormon for examples of different one person anti Christs. Hence why in the last days when THE anti Christ comes onto the scene so many people will be deceived even half within our own church.

I wonder if anybody has asked Avraham how he knows that the servant won’t be the prophet or one of the apostles. That’s the question people very first ask me when I tell them about this. Also, when he talks about the exodus like the exodus of Egypt, is that the first exodus with the kings and queens of the gentiles or is that the second part where the 144,000 go out and gather others?
@@cadescastings No one knows who the servant will be the Lord has hidden him. Anything more than that is speculation. Unfortunately too many people try to do that.
Because the Servant will be one who actually serves God rather than serving Satan by holding hands with the Gadianton robbers. The Servant will speak truth rather than lies.
What version of the Bible are you reading from? Seemed to make things more clear and understandable.

There areany times that parallel the times of Isaiah. Today is one. The time of the destruction of the 10 tribes and also the destruction of Jerusalem 600 years before Christ. The destruction of the Jaredites and the time before the Savior appeared to the Nephites. Also duriing the last days when the Nephite nation was being destroyed. The Lord qarns his people and warns them again. It is up to us to listen and learn.

21:35 At the time there is a cruel master in America Avraham says the righteous will be delivered and not have to experience all of the calamity, but he doesn't seem to share how one would avoid it. How will the righteous be delivered from all this? I understand that you have to be keeping the commandments but I'm wondering if we know what the deliverance would look like?
@@majanielsen2480 My understanding is that these are the ELECT. They are called out first and become the Kings and Queens. They are the SERVANTS who will gather the House of Israel in power and great GLORY (1 Nephi 14:14).
Then they will gather those who repent and ascend spiritually during the tribulations.
The key is being in the temple at every possible opportunity. The power that we will receive from those COVENANTS will be miraculous! They will bring up on us the greatest miracles the world has ever seen!
