This is a truly masterpiece. Considering MGR lack of combo potential, pulling something like that is a torture😅 I have only one question, how did you change the weapon from spear to your regular strong attacks with the sword, and in mid air when performing a finishing blow, without opening the menu?
It's called dodge offset weapon switching. Notice how before I change to the sword from spear, I did three heavy attack attacks, then I blade mode canceled and quickly changed the weapon to the sword and then used defensive offense towards sundowner and then I continued the heavy attack
@@exalted_rain Yea, pretty hidden mechanic. I remember when I got situation where I did a combo with a sword and when Raiden started swinging with his feet I used a dodge and start attack again and he continued to slash. At that moment I understood that this game has it's own deep features)
@@user-ni3tu1gc1d this game does have a very deep mechanic. Even I didn't know it in the beginning. Blade mode canceling is the tip of the iceberg. I haven't got fully into the pit yet either. There's so much more to try in the game. I believe there's still some things yet to be discovered

Depends on the directors of the game. They can make a character look crazy awesome in a cutscene and then dog shit in the actual game Although that's not the case in MGRR and DMC

Thanks alot. Yeah it took me about 3-4 hours to pull this off. Yeah the original combo I planned earlier included a triple kick heavy attack, and then switch to bloodust weapon, and then "I don't know the attack name but the one I used in the video to lift him up" and then the final move I used in the video

I saw a video of Dante riding Cavliere during that first cutscene in Mission 12 of DMC 5, y’know the one where he rides it into all those Demons and obliterats them? Well, I saw a clip of that but Cavliere was invisible and it was stupid af (in a good way).
Another good replacement for the ending attack is Raiden's Charged Quickdraw, but given that it takes some time, it requires really good timing and skill equal to this vid's creator. Anyways, this vid is still so damn awesome...

Impressive!, in most other clips I see people constantly using blade mode to cancel moves and keep enemies in the air more easily, your combo looked clean as fuck knowing this game has more limited combat than DMC especially
I've played MGR too and know that compared to DMC it's combo's are much more limited, especially since you can't quick swap weapons except the 2 you have equipped. Also there's less moves to do in general. So I understand that a combo this clean is a great achievement!
