- I did not make this. I think it's the best orchestrated version! Just was bored and put pictures with it haha hope you guys enjoy it though! :)
(I didn't know where the original was from as I originally found it with a completely different name on soundcloud and researched like crazy to find it and credit it, but I should have just looked in the comments. Sorry it's long overdue! I'm still researching and will add credit for all artwork used as it's all artwork I collected over a year. I made this when I was 17 years old and didn't know/think about crediting at that time and finally was looking through my uploads and noticed I did not give credit. I have since learned that every artist deserves credit and I will work on crediting them all now. Again, I'm so sorry that I didn't get to this before.)

This little gem here is from a game called Touhou, It started as a Bullet Hell game back in 2003 or so. It has become a lot more popular and has branched off to fan made animes, merchandising and almost an hole different universe completely. The girl here is Flandre Scarlet, she is 450 years old and has spent most of her life inside a basement. Her older sister Remilia kept her in the basement for this amount of time because mainly she was scared of Flandre's ability and how she couldn't control it. Sadly Flandre went insane because of how long she spent in the basement and now the simple words "Play with me." Send a shiver down any resident of Genskyo's back. Flandre and Remilia are vampires except in this universe vampires have wings, can be killed by running water, can be killed by sunlight and have glowing red eyes. If someone already answered your question then this can answer anyone else's possibly?

***** There actually might be something to Flandre being much more powerful. Sephiroth's power extended to summoning a meteor capable of severely damaging the Planet, but only with the help of the Black Materia. On the other hand, Flandre is canonically known to be able to destroy anything and everything by envisioning its "eye" and crushing it, which she actually is said to have done to a meteor.
Well i thinked "Square Enix has mixed multiple franchices already, and Flandre is really cool and would be an epic extra-boss for kingdom hearts. To sum up, this symphony would fit as her boss theme :) (sorry for my bad english, i am not an english speaker)
Also, there's the whole "we've used Sephiroth twice now, what other iconic villain can we use in the next game that would make him look like a pansy?" thing.

I dunno, I think Flandre is more misunderstood than anything.
I havent played Touhou, although I am watching a Lets Play (currently on Shoot the Bullet) so I am somewhat well versed on the characters (although not exactly the lore, since most stuff about that is on the internet anyway) and, for that, I know about Flandre too.
Seriously, I would turn to a psycho too if I got locked into a basement for NEARLY 500 YEARS WITHOUT ANYTHING TO DO (seriously, that`s so outrageous that I HAD to use caps), so I dont think Flandre is THAT evil. I mean, did she went crazy on Marisa when battling her? Did she ever used her powers for evil, and, for that, wouldnt Gensokyo be already destroyed at this point?
Seriously, that is only my opinion to what I think about her so no need to be trollish (in fact, I dont really like going here to post stuff, I only go here for videos and stuff). XD
UltimateZero42, a huge Megaman fan Flandre is quite sane, canon dictates that she's probably one of the more sane people in the setting. Infact, she is far, far more dangerous because she knows exactly what she's doing. Imagine a child who's lived a sheltered life for five-hundred plus years and can break you with a gesture.
She has a concept of right and wrong however, as well as a general theme of playfulness. She is still without a doubt one of the more dangerous inhabitance of Gensokyo regardess. That, and while she's powerful, she's not exactly malevolent unlike her sister. Flandre would probably be happy to go on living as she has, perhapes with a little more freedom.
Remilia is basically Dracula, Flandre is her Alucard, so to speak.

She'd basically have to figure out how to control it herself, and it's often hinted that she has to a great extent, done so.
I don't blame Remilia for locking her up, she's protective as a sister and somewhat as a mentor. I imagine she's been grooming Flandre to become another Dracula just like herself since the start. To be fair, being a vampire in Gensokyo where most of your weaknesses are very prevalent would kinda suck.
Running water, the Sun, Holy objects. (While the sun doesn't appear to bother Flandre in many fanworks, I think it does.) I mean, several characters are basically Priests/Nuns and physical gods. (Reimu, Sanae who is both a god and a priestess of some discription, not to mention half the cast.)

I think there is a game related to them coming sometime (I am not sure if it will be about them or when its gonna come though), but I am not really sure if THAT will clear the doubts. I dunno, the full story of the Scarlet Devil Mansion residents wasnt been fully explained (Patchouli, Sakuya, Flandre and Remilia, although I dunno if I should be including Patchouli TBH) so, yeah.

Bradley Hamilton Luckily you were smart enough to ask Show/Game.....because there are quite a few hardcore touhou fans that will rip people to shreds for thinking it is a show. Also there are a few fanmade games as well, my favorite of these would have to be "Gensokyo No Nazo" (old school platformer type with bullet hell)
