If you love storytelling based game you need to play Night in the Woods! I was so obsessed with it last year when I played and the soundtrack is beautiful. Transistor by Supergiant Games who did Hades is beautiful too
I care about this content girl you should make this once or twice a year!! i’ve been looking for new switch games i feel like i have nowhere to start and i love your explanation of them! same boat as you where i got back into gaming because of my bf and the switch is my favorite
I highly recommend Gris! One of my favorite indie games. You can easily finish it in one sitting, it’s about 4-5 hours long. There’s no dialogue, there’s no reading, but the story told through the gameplay is beautiful and the music is just *chef’s kiss* And if you like open world games, combat and lots of exploration that can lead to endless hours of gameplay then Zelda Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom are amazing (pricey yes but considering the amount of gameplay I do personally believe the price tag is worth it).
ooh my boyfriend played the kirby game when it came out! i watched him play it a few times. i didn't play too many nintendo games aside from luigi's mansion, but maybe i'll play more in 2023! i want to try paper mario eventually.
OMG I do the exact same thing with my boyfriend. I watch him play and help him with where to go and what to do. Btw, only just recently found your channel but already watched a lot of your videos as love books and gaming too. P.s I love how you explain things, and you make me laugh with the things you come out with 😝. You're great. Lots of love 🥰💜
i’m more of a animal crossing and stardew valley girly myself but i loved seeing the games in this video! gave me inspiration to try some out as well hehe
I definitely will make another video like this at the end of the year! Maybe another game recommendation video eventually. These don't perform very well on my channel so I do them sparingly 😅 but definitely expect 1-2 this year!
i'm not a huge walking dead person in terms of the tv show, but there's a video game version that follows different characters that you can get for the switch. i really like the story/characters (and there's voice acting lol), so it might be worth a try! :)
Love this video! I love watching people play videogames, last I watched was the latest Dark Pictures installment, also by the same people who made Until Dawn and The Quarry
You had a great gaming year! If you don't mind some fighting to get to the story I would totally recommend Hades and Children of morta, both are for switch 🎮 (Don't know if is your style, but would more than recommend playing Legend of Zelda Breath of the wild, is my favorite game ever, and is exclusive to switch)
This is awesome. I'll have to try to get into some new games this year! Literally the only game I play is Rocket League, haha, which I do love a lot! Oh, we do play Mario Party sometimes and I really enjoy that, too! God of War sounds super cool to watch. My bf plays Assassin's Creed Valhalla and it seems pretty similar. I don't know if I'd be good at it, but it's a cool concept!
Love the gaming content 💗 I haven’t played any of these, but I have watched play throughs of The Quarry and Until Dawn, which I loved. I’m currently playing God of War on PS5 and can’t wait to get to Ragnarok. If you’re looking for a game similar, I loved Horizon Zero Dawn and Horizon Forbidden West for PlayStation!!
My boyfriend and I started horizon zero Dawn last year but haven't finished yet! He got the sequel in a bundle with his PS5 so hopefully we will play them soon! We just started playing the remaster of final fantasy 7
@@sarawithoutanH Nice!! There’s a DLC for Forbidden West coming out soon, so I’m really excited for that! I haven’t played any Final Fantasy but I’ve seen a lot about it. That’s so fun that you guys play together. My bf has only played GTA 5 and never wants to watch me game, boooo 🤣
I know it’s been months but thank you for the to the moon review - the game is so shockingly ableist and anti autistic it genuinely really hurt me, not just that it existed, but that other people thought it was good, I even tried to get a refund from Nintendo it was awful
thank you for seeing that too! i literally googled "to the moon autistic rep" and was reading through reddit threads to see if anyone agreed?? it was so bizarre that i couldn't find anyone else who thought the autistic rep was weird.
@@sarawithoutanH so glad to not be alone on this! I think it’s a reflection of how common those tragic autistic stories are :(( Not sure if you already know about it, but if you’re interested in some good autistic women rep, A Kind Of Spark is great (the book/show are middle grade though so may feel a bit young!) felt very cleansing after to the moon
SO late to this video but wanted to say that forgotton anne was relisted on the nintendo eshop in february! 🎮
omg amazing!!!! it's truly one of my favorite games
i am LIVING for this gamer content from you 🙌🎮
Omg! I loved that you mentioned stories untold, one of my favorites that nobody talks about!!
If you love storytelling based game you need to play Night in the Woods! I was so obsessed with it last year when I played and the soundtrack is beautiful. Transistor by Supergiant Games who did Hades is beautiful too
night in the woods is definitely on my list of games i want to play!

I also "played" Until Dawn and The Quarry by watching my fiancé play it 😂 I also get waaay too scared to use the controller correctly!
especially the parts where you have to keep the controller still or the characters die!!
please do more videos on games!! we have simular tastes in them and i got so many recommendations out of this video! :)
💗💗💗💗 I hope you enjoy the games!!!
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is by far my favorite game that came out 2022. Loved seeing Yoku and Luigi’s Mansion 3 at the top btw.

loved this!! Gonna go try so many of these now- thank you! 🥰
Yay so glad you liked it!
WE LOVE A GAMER GORL 🎮
So ... how do we get MORE switch content from you? Because ... I've already played through Afterparty and Jenny LaClue because of you. Slay.
AND OXENFREE. Forgot that one too. All your fault.
I definitely will make another video like this at the end of the year! Maybe another game recommendation video eventually. These don't perform very well on my channel so I do them sparingly 😅 but definitely expect 1-2 this year!

ooh love the gaming content!! so fun

Ooh yes my boyfriend and I have been wanting to play the dark pictures games!
A little late to the party, but I'd love to see an update to this come 2024!

My boyfriend has a physical copy of BOTW and I want to play it soon!

oh, and Disco Elysium is absolutely worth checking out, especially since they put out the final cut on switch which is fully voice acted.
Ohh I actually have disco elysium. I bought it a while ago
👏🏼 yes! Love gaming! This is great content thanks for posting! 😊🎉
