Have the older 3797 locomotive, B VI it doesn't have lights or sounds however I use it to pull my King Ludwig car set. This is one of my favorite locos I have!
I have already got the Trix 'Mittelwald' loco. Next step would be 'Sauerlach','Steinach','Lessing' and 'Orlando di Lasso'. 'Tristan' and 'Murnau' as well as 'Tolz' wouls be very difficult to get. BTW. I am a modellbahn fan in China.
@IamMagPie it's the illness of the whole electronically made sound, that the steamlocomotive sound ist not syncronized with the wheeels motion. Greater lokomotvies, gauge 1 for example, have a contact on the axe. That's the single possibility to syncronize sound with wheels motion.
I've just ordered this locomotive. Excuse me, did the German man say that the steamlocomotive sounds are NOT syncronized with the wheels motion? The locomotive looks a bit "hairy" (I guess these are small hairs or dust, not scratches). I would like to see Märklin locomotives start and stop smoother. In real life, a locomotive doesn't go from 0 km/h to, say, 10 km/h. Sure, you can adjust some on the decoder, but it's not smooth enough yet.

I love the class B IV, it is one of the most beautiful locomotives ever built. I am very disappointed none of these were preserved.
