I was going to watch this on my phone at work. So glad that I waited until I was home and watched it on my TV. GoPro horse videos are awesome on a large screen.
Never seen your channel before but as an ex hunt staff member it struck me that nowadays its more like a team chase than actual hunting originally was. We spent ages standing holding up covers and listening to hounds speak. Not an organised jumping session. Looks great fun but they shouldn't call it hunting now.
Oh don't worry, they still hunt, illegally. They're just smart enough to cut it out of the video. The South Durham have been caught many times hunting and killing foxes.
Agreed. I only got a couple of seasons around 1980 before I had to give up horses and go to work and raise kids, but that s what I remember. It's a shame our wild animals are allowed to get sick and weak instead of kept healthy with hunting. One day they'll realise the mistake, like with wolves at Yellowstone
@@fion1flatout Fascinating point of view. So you only aim to kill sick and weak foxes? May I ask, how did you determine if the hounds were on the line of a sick and weak fox, or on the line of a healthy and fit fox?
You were lucky to come off unscathed from that kick (6:47). I hope the rider apologised later. Her horse needed a very quick reminder why it was wrong. Hate kickers (who doesn't of course). Never any real excuse and the red ribbon for me has always been more a sign that the rider can't be bothered.
Almost went for a play in the mud there over that jump, great save from both you and your horse.
More ribbons for kickers seem to be needed.
That looks like a great experience, so many horses and beautiful ladies, great job, those horses are spunky 😂😂, they are having a great time.
Love the video! Your laughing wheeze/honk is killing me 🤣🤣

They don't though. This is drag hunting. They don't hunt.@@pumpkinhead8593
