I like going 4x6 + 2x2 to dodge ghost heat- lower alpha but you can pull the alpha strike every time, using the extra tonnage to armor the arms enough to shield the STs. Gives you some small launchers to rapidfire at nearly-wrecked targets too.
I love my Direwolf-UV soooo much. Just amazing and easily the best Hero I've ever bought. it's been my best / most consistent damage dealer / Match Score producer, on average, since I started playing MWO in earnest on April-7th, of this year. TTB singing its praises always fills me with happiness, as it's well-deserved ! I actually found you can do silly setups like LB-60... (2 LB-X-20's, 2 LB-X-10's) - and it actually can make that work - sort of - pretty hilarious Buckshot action ! // Fun Lore Fact too: the Ultraviolent is meant to be the personal mech of Clan Smoke Jaguar Galaxy Commander, Jin Mehta. I believe he died in battle during the Inner Sphere's counter-attack on the Smoke Jag worlds, but I just love the cool lore stuff PGI tried to mix into the game, when they could :-)
Good vid, lights are so OP in MWO its a bit sad, they seem to have been scaled on protomech sizing to me, can carry more weapons then an assault and get amazing hit boxes and move like the wind :) I guess PGI has to do it that way to get people to play them. You see similar stuff in other games where a certain class is given an advantage that isn't inline with everything else in game but is necessary to be able to get people to play that class.
In my experience, there are SOME lights that can do that- I find the ones that are 30-35 tons are perfect - but the lighter ones I struggle to make 'work" (personally). For example, I've had games in my Urbanmechs of 500+ damage easily.... many such matches. I bought a Myst Lynx G during the recent sale, on a whim, and tried to do the 'famous' build of 8 Clan Machine Guns, and some ER Smalls...and it was atrocious. I couldnt do more than 200 before getting blown to bits, in almost every match I played. I think the 'best ever" was 312... and I eventually sold it after about 15-20 games. So...I agree with you that there are some are really potent, but it seems heavily based on Hardpoints and total Tons you can spend on various configurations, that determines how much "pop" your Light can produce, in most matches.
Izza sillyfox! Yaaay! 🦊 Every Kit Fox is a sillyfox, but an ECM sniper is also a sneakyfox, and this brawler is a killyfox! Fox terminology requires three-syllable made-up words!
Fascinating to see a Kit Fox not being just a support mech.

One of my best performing mechs is a kit fox with 3HML 4MG 3AMS+ECM. It's awesome, try it!
Deadly kit fox and nice video too. Pobre piñata..I have a similar one 4xsrm6+2srm4. Less punch, but you can shoot forever without overheating.
4xsrm6+2xsrm2, sin ghost heat u can alpha forever o7
Correcto. Srm4 lo puse de memoria, es posible srm2 porque no me genera ghost heat :D. Also I prefer mobility over survival..
That's a lot of "backup weapons" on that Dire Wolf.

6*SRM6 on "Uller" ...da fuck?! MWO, you broke the rules.
That looks like a good time buddy. Poor Whale bhaha
I hope they upgrade this game by piggybacking off the MW5 engine.
hahah nice, I ran the same on my gar-kw with 6 srm + 2 machine gun.
Thanks for the vid sir.
Nice nice love my kitty fox
