spoilers for 60th and the latest holiday special: I mean, because of the salt and the toymakers play time but mainly because of the salt, the universal structure has changed and has allowed myths to happen/pop up as showcased with the bi regeneration and goblins/goblin king, sooo the main universe structure has changed to allow these things not so bound to science to exist within the universe, so it could just be the main universe orrr that shift made it a whole shift of a timeline and universe maybe to be another one or then it's just the main universe having a changed state for now.
All I see here is just a million more reasons why The Timeless Child storyline is just way more dumb than anyone could have even guessed. It just makes everything worse.
