7:40 If the renter didn't have that in their insurance policy, then you should be suing the renter. There is no way you could win a judgment here if the insurance company is explicitly NOT liable.

Lawyer here. I am sure I am missing something here since you are an intelligent person and well thought out. But....
How did you incur $85,000 in fees? $400/hour (estimate!) translates to a whopping 212 hours, or 5 full weeks of work, which seems off.
Why didn't you commit to a flat fee arrangement with your attorney or a success fee? You seem to be party to many legal issues. Why not have someone on retainer at this point? Any litigator could rep you in court and negotiate with the insurance companies out of court, so "out-house" counsel could be a great fit here.

Every time my sister had an asthma attack she’d take her to the er to get said med costing the insurance company like +$1000 and the copay of like $20 for my mom, 4 visits in she gets a call asking why she’s visiting the er so much, my mom straight up says “to make you realize you made a bad financial decision””are you going to cover the meds? Loss of use and diminished value .... either it's stipulated in the policy or it isn't. Also, no one is going to pay both biz expenses and income. If they paid for lost income, that's supposed to offset expenses partially. That attorney is probably overcharging at least 3x, and courts may or may not be sympathetic about that.

It's even worse with warranty service that can get delayed often from incompetence, parts issues, logistics problems or some combination. You can end up with a business vehicle out for over a month after it initially being in for routine same day maintenance for fluids. No compensation for most warranty for loss of use as far as I know (let me know if there is something else that would cover it). That would be very useful to have. Doesn't even matter if you aren't a rental company for that. If you have specs and the loaner won't work or they have mileage restrictions/surcharges etc its an expensive problem.
