I loved M1ss Jade So’s runway soooo much. It’s dinuguan (blood stew, which is the dripping black around her body) which is usually eaten with puto (steamed rice cake, which is the white she was dressed as) with chili (which was on her head). In her narration she kept talking about being fierce and bloody as well as being a puta (play on puto lol). It was so well done (the costume and the narration).
During the Mini Challenge, they did something called Tinikling, which is accompanied by 2 or 4 bamboo poles, 2 bamboo holders, and the 1 performer. Tinikling is also considered as the National Dance of the Philippines! 💗💗💗 Philippines
to be honest, the snatch game was a mess. nobody could tell anyone from that episode was any celebrity they impersonated because not only do they keep breaking characters, they're really not serving. but the episode actually works. filipinos in general are so unserious so this episode really works because we can laugh WITH and AT them. it's one of those it's so bad, it's good. this would probably be difficult to translate to an international audience, but i feel this episode was really made for the philippine audience to just get it.

Katkat deserved her win but the banter between Hana and Arizona was too much for me. Arizona was able to give Adele the kind of humor that the commonfolk can relate to and I was laughing so much at her jokes and wit. I thought she was gonna win.
This week's episode was underwhelming. The snatch game wasn't that great. Even the queens in the top had something lacking in their performances. But Katkat deserved the win. I'm one of those who's annoyed with Verushka but I'm kinda sad that she's gone. She's really good at creating drama. I still need her for more episodes. Just imagine the drama she could have still brought to the competition.
To me this was judged very differently than the US. Like the rule of just make ru laugh, would have put arizona well and truly up the top. I personally liked her performance the most, but that may be because I didn't know Major Joy at all 🤷♀️ but i feel Arizona was robbed.

Katkat definitely deserved the win she served when she is on and not on cam, but I heard there were a lot of parts that didn't made it to the final cut Katkat, Arizona, OV and Hana did good I can see that a lot of parts were cut especially for Katkat, Bernie and OV Which for me caused a lot of disconnection from the fun the queens had during the set, but morely this Snatch Game had a lot of dry humor (Katkat, Hana) and GenZ Humor (Jade) I hope this Season and maybe Season 1 as well would have a Re-Editing same with what they did for Season 15 coz this season is so fun but the EDITING team ruined it

I feel like Verushka's choice for the Snatch Game could have been great IF she had studied her subject more. Mommy D (the boxer Manny Pacquiao's mom) is such a character IRL and has a lot of mannerisms (like a penchant for pulling ballroom dancing moves at random times, praying the rosary AND shadowboxing at the same time while watching her son in the ring, or calling all men "dong") that would have lent themselves really well to physical comedy and comebacks. Wasted opportunity!
Miss Jade actually did very well on portraying Queen Dura. Its just that they don't get the humor and the inside jokes of Queen Dura, so that's the reason they don't find it funny.
In my opinion, the issues boil down to the editing and the guests not fullygetting the queens' jokes. The editing is filled with tons of dead air, which makes things awkward. And let's be honest, many of the guests probably haven't seen the queens' TikTok jokes, like Jade and Bernie's (I totally cracked up at Jade's QD impersonation). But, hey, I'm not blaming anyone. The queens did an amazing job, considering this challenge is one of the toughest in Drag Race.

In my honest opinion, Deedee was such a hard watch during the snatch game. The switch-up just really wasn't giving anything in both cultures (Filipino and American). And the way she had to get out of her Meryl Streep character just to be creatively sure that a joke would perfectly land if she imitated a local actress but it flopped because Meryll Soriano never talked with a strong southern accent. I understand that she thought she had 'high comedy' but where were these punchlines that she thought were too intelligent for people? What was there to dumb down when she did not think any of this through? No shade Deedee hunty.

This is not good, Arizona should have won, everyone else besides the top 3 should have lipsync, s1 set the bar too high for this to flop the way it did, there are a lot of jokes that could have been made especially with Mommy D and merryl/Jennifer coolidge, mayor joy was mid but relevant for the persona non grata bit.
As a filipino, the snatch game was... Really boring compared to season one's snatch game. Katkat made me laugh but not that much even though the impersonation was spot on, if she was on season 1, she probably would just land in the safe zone. Ov did good, the jokes were witty and stay true to the character. Arizona reminded me of those filipino bar comedianes with her banters and antics. The rest were meh, i think they edited bernie out since she did really bad, the madam inutz was not that good. Jade's choice was random as fck, but A+ i guess for the effort and attempt since the character she chose was quite differemt from her persona. Im really disappointed wIth Matilduh's sassa. Sassa was such a great character to impersonate, sadly, matilduh did not deliver the same energy that Sassa brings. Same with veruschka, she could have done better, i mean the character she chose was known for being transpobic and a mother of a boxer-politicians who's also known for being homophobic asf, so much material for her but she didn't use all that. Ofc deedee.... Idk why she chose that character...

Katkat made me laugh but not that much even though the impersonation was spot on, if she was on season 1, she probably would just land in the safe zone. Ov did good, the jokes were witty and stay true to the character. Arizona reminded me of those filipino bar comedianes with her banters and antics.
The rest were meh, i think they edited bernie out since she did really bad, the madam inutz was not that good. Jade's choice was random as fck, but A+ i guess for the effort and attempt since the character she chose was quite differemt from her persona.
Im really disappointed wIth Matilduh's sassa. Sassa was such a great character to impersonate, sadly, matilduh did not deliver the same energy that Sassa brings. Same with veruschka, she could have done better, i mean the character she chose was known for being transpobic and a mother of a boxer-politicians who's also known for being homophobic asf, so much material for her but she didn't use all that.
