It's in the instruction manual somewhere. I believe it's 12345678, but once in the app you can update it to whatever you like. I'm still really liking mine. Thanks for watching!
Hey there, that is the app. Do you hear any chimes or see any blue lights on it when you turn on the vehicle? Mine will chime when turning on, say 'start recording' and I can see blue flashing lights. I can also see it under the available wifi connections.
@@RaymondLamb I had to switch from the Skycamm app to Viidure. I could never get the Skycamm app to connect, but Viidure works flawlessly. I'm not sure why there are two apps available for the connection and why Skycamm is having issues. I've seem multiple people report issues with Skycamm and then the Mangoal support tells them to switch to Viidure.
So, this fits your Ram... but what about other vehicles with completely different farings? My VW has a **completely** different design. Well... following the Amazon link reveals one thing: They only want people with $50k+ vehicles (note, most are trucks and SUVs = $$$) to use this product. The cheapest sedan was a Camry which is still high mid range cost. All other sedans were Audis, Porche, top end Toyotas (with the same faring as the Camry, thus the inclusion of the 'cheap' Toyota model). Nice to know what they think of middle class users. 👎👎
@amzarnacht6710 I mentioned that in the video and there's a link in the description for their page with everything they offer. Looks like they have setups for tons of makes and models. Hope that helps and thanks for watching!
FitCamX is another brand that does integrated dash cams. They have options for multiple VW vehicles. Their vehicle selection appears to be much larger than Mangoal. I have a Mangoal in my Silverado and then found FitCamX because I was looking for one for my wife's car (2023 Trailblazer) and Mangoal doesn't have an option for hers. Unfortunately, neither does FitCamX, but they do list many VW options and a ton of other brands.
Got it installed but, what is the wifi pass? Where do i find it?

Thanks, I ended up emailing support. It is "12345678" lol
Good deal, yes I would recommend changing that very secure password!!!
For the app, is that the SkyCamm app? I have no idea to even tell if my cam is on. Not showing up on my phone's WiFi so I can't even add the camera.
