- This day will stay in my mind forever. I meet with the heroes of Africa: the rangers of Bwindi National Park. We spend a whole day hiking through the rainforest chasing the mountain gorilla. The trekking is difficult and very physical but the scenery is simply magnificent, like a movie. I enjoy this time to interview the rangers fighting their life to protect the endangered species of the region... Come with me to get to know what is actually going on in the famous mountains of the Republic of Uganda.

The Ugandan rangers are doing an excellent job preserving the habitat of the gorillas, they seem like nice people, the natural world needs our help and in Uganda they are getting it right, the population growth is proof the gorillas are thriving, thanks for sharing Charline✌️❤️🇬🇧

The landscape of Bwindi is so lush and beautiful it does not seem "a place full of darkness" ! Especially when your friend Charles said that walking there, and forest bathing, will make a person healthier!
We hear how tourism ruins so many of the remote areas of the world, but it is fascinating that the money that tourism earns in Bwindi is used to help conservation and protecting the gorillas.
These rangers are heroes 👏👏👏

I lost my husband last April and seeing the Gorillas was on his bucket list. So I decided to go and see them for him. I also went to Bwindi and was very lucky to spend time with a family of gorillas with a silverback. I agree the rangers are passionate about conservation and great at sharing all their knowledge. I loved Uganda and specially the Lolex. Haha

Today’s show: the music choice was excellent. I do admire the enthusiasm of the rangers about their country-who wouldn’t. CR as a ranger? I don’t see it. The streets of France, the comfort and convenience of home, and the natural desire of forming an own family, are, I believe, tugging at her. This isn’t a curiosity, for sure. But the sacrifices of a ranger shouldn’t be taken that lightly! Cheers, CR.
Ranger is indeed a difficult and very dangerous job… I do not want to live in Europe, and I do not want a family so…why not at the end 😊
