Last year I went to a family village. It consisted of maybe 4 or 5 traditional huts that had nothing more than beds inside. They have no electricity and water was fetched from a well. The entrance to the hut we were taken to was very low so you have to crouch to get inside and they had a door that was made from branches woven together...so there are no locks to keep out someone who wishes harm...but in the middle of nowhere who would be looking to do anything but maybe get some water 😊 on our way there we picked up our friends brother and he brought a block of ice with him. After we had greeted everyone, it was a funeral for our friend, we sat in a hut out of the sun and they brought us some cold milk. I dream about this milk often and would make the 3 hour trip again just to have some of it. It was so sweet and nice, pure milk. I wanted to drink it all but that would have been impolite. Not anything I expected to find in this little village with no electricity. Just amazing the simplicity of life and good for us if we only knew. Love your videos, stay there it is better for you than out here in this madness!♡

Jesus, Almighty God 🙏 loves ❤ you more than you could possibly comprehend!
He died for your sins, my sins and the sins of the world.
Jesus stands with His arms opened wide, hoping and willing to heal, forgive, cleanse, strengthen and purify us. He is waiting to receive you with all love! He deeply desires a personal relationship with each and every one of us!
      RELATIONSHIP NOT RELIGION!
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you, there is no repentance in the grave: There is no conversion after the last breath is drawn.
Now is the time to believe in Christ and to lay hold of eternal life (J C Ryle).
God has revealed Himself to us in the glory of creation, in the perfection of the written word and in personal experience of all who seek Him.
Prayer 🙏 is giving our attention to God in a two-way Spiritual relationship where we talk to God and also listen to Him, you can pray 🙏 to God, through Jesus in the privacy of your own home (pray from your heart).
God speaks to your heart because He loves you and wants to interact with you.
So often we don't wait for God to speak after we've finished laying down our requests. Sadly, we don't watch for God to act in our lives.
Did you know that God speaks to us through the Bible?
The Holy scriptures Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
The gift of the Holy Spirit is one of God's greatest gifts to us. Through the Holy Spirit we may know that God lives and that Jesus is the Christ!
Scripture is always the voice of God in the general sense that God inspired the words of Scripture (2 Tim 3:16).
God can also speak specifically to us through the Bible, by drawing a particular passage to our attention because the Word of God is living and active (Heb 4:12).
We can say that it is God's primary way of speaking to us. Any other communication must be based and tested by what is taught in Scripture.
The Holy Bible is God's guide for us, so we can reach Him, the only true living God and hear back from Him!
Jesus is returning in the not so distant future!

What a beautiful sentiment to end on. I would be so very honored!
In Ireland, we have a mixture of centralised piped water (the more common situation in 2024) and well water (mostly individual farms but sometimes villages as well. The village next to where I grew up (and where I spent time and drank plenty of water!) had both piped in tap water, and a village well, because the tap water apparently tasted terrible. It was perfectly safe to use, so boiling didn't help, so if people wanted water they had to walk to the village well and get some. It was a chore, but I never saw anyone complain about it, which is possibly a measure both of how much we all like tea here, and how bad the tap water tasted.
At some point a couple of decades ago, the situation improved and the tap water became palatable, but people still have fond feelings for the well. The road its on is now host to a fairly large local festival, which I guess wasn't practical in the past. Wells in general have a tremendous amount of culture weight here, and fill our folklore.
I am very glad your village water is yummy! (Water does have a taste, even when it isn't dramatic.) And I totally understand the precautions you and your village take. Sometimes when the rain is extra heavy here, it can cause issues with the water supply, and even when the government doesn't issue a "boil water notice", we will take the added step of doing it ourselves. Water is so important for every living thing. I wish we all had access to clean water, and I'm grateful that you and I do. Thank you for sharing this with us.
