    The SC30 is a great machine. Had mine over 7 years. Very reliable. Currently removing 300 stumps from local golf course. Some are huge( 4ft x 4ft). All hardwood. I use a diamond tipped battery powered angle grinder for sharpening teeth. Vermeer advised to ensure the machine is greased each day after use whilst machine is still WARM. Also, pls ensure you wear full head protection. I've been hit by stones that have broken the visor and drawn blood on my forehead. Be warned!..new sub. UK based.love the stump grinding vids.

    Well, hello, yesterday's dinner in the woods suggested I watch this and I love it. That's one mean stump grinding machine, be careful. Machines have no scruples and can hurt you without remorse. I've been there and done that and have the scars and red badges of courage to prove it. Tom in the lower 48. P.S. I've camped and canoed in your Quetico and north of Atikokan. 'Am 78 now, those days are in the past. Now I just continue to survive our frozen tundra Wisconsin winters and weathering your Alberta Clippers, Polar Vortexes, and Texas Panhandle Hooks.

    Hello i am running a stump grinding company in Southern Oregon. I am looking at the SC30TX. How are the tracks on grass? Do they harm the grass when turning? Do want to rip up someone's lawn!

    • @TimberMates
      @TimberMates  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      if the grass is in good condition it wont do any damage but with some bad lawns especially mossy it can rip off a strip easily. I always try to go in straight lines and make slow turns by going fwd and back multiple times to make a turn.

  • @frederickbays405
    @frederickbays405 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    U can take it out fast that way or just drill some holes in it add bugs and want 2-3 yr for them to eat it. I do this to every stump I make when trees are cut for my mill
    Yes i the woods I do this to get rid of the stump Bugs make fast work of it when u think how long it can take for a stump to go away by itself Makes it so we can re plant a lot easier For every tree I take out of my woods I plant 10 in it place
    Why 10? So that we can pick the one that grows the best and cut the other young for to sell to pellet factory in Addison.
