Had never come across a game before that required so many frameworks, etc. to run mods. Was a little overwhelming and despite doing it all manually, I fully expected to break the game, but it went well. Thanks for the video, it's very helpful.
@@fatguy4137 Yes, FNV in particular can be a devil to mod properly. Old game now and the animation replacers can screw thing up very quickly if you're not careful, not to mention all the variants on the script extenders.
Long time Skyrim mod user here. I’ve done all the advanced stuff modding the game along with creating some of my own minor ones. I’m also a first time Cyberpunk player and was interested in modding. I found this video and gave it a go. Fantastic job!!! I think you did really well, made it easy to follow, and gave just enough detail despite your previous anxieties. I encourage you to keep going if you feel like it.
The best cyberpunk youtuber! My tips. Sometimes the game will crash and corrupt one of its files. No need to reinstall just go to cyberpunk in your steam library->installed files->verify integrity. And it will repair corrupted files. Another key tip. If the game crashes when you tries to start. If you already did the verify just keep trying to launch it. I found it eventually runs. Might take 3 tries.
Remember People! If a body mod is applied and you want a overlay which most definitely is using UV you need to framework of UV, and then look for the UV body framework that is usually separate from the main UV itself. Just... You'll see, you will see what I mean eventually.
Excellent video! For clarification, though: when it comes to the load order, you said "first gets priority". Does this mean that a lower number (ex. 23 vs 24), or whichever is displayed 'on top' gets priority? Thanks
Bro, there's a lot of preem mod for you to cover! Real color is back and using it with Neon Genesis is such a treat for the eyes! CyanideX Nova lut pure also got updated, now with its own ENV which is preem as well! Looking forward for you to cover them and hear your opinion on them
Very well done guide, gg. For anyone starting with mods, Vortex is way to go, allowing easiest recovery and mod removal in case things go wrong due to incompatibilities etc. PS: Would love to see NovaLUT vs GITS 3.0 vs Enhanced Vanilla visuals vs Vanilla, with Enhanced Weather v5 with Effect removal - would be so so much appreciated.
As someone who’s also using Vortex for Skyrim mods, this was a very good tutorial for using vortex, thanks. One request: Is it possible you can make a guide on how to manually change textures of the game? I would like to learn how to make my own ads for the game
Hey I believe you need to use wolvenkit for that, unfortunately I don't have any experience with changing textures, but if I ever get into it I'll share what I know :)
I just used the mods that needed to just copy in the folders because I was looking at what it all needs and I’m like nah bro I’m fine. Might install for my next playthrough at some time
So now that we're on 2.1... trying to do it manually, trying to use vortex.. sigh. I just can't get it to work. I'm not giving up.. I've had to uninstall the game multiple times, I will get this
Great video Krush! I just wanted to know is it possible to get a video on jewlery and body mesh mods for our V?. You go into better detail then other tubers on modding. Thanks a lot.
If I already installed some mods manually, can I still use your curator/collection mod package by using vortex? Or should I uninstall everything manually and then download your collection? Thanks for the video.
Thank you! Can you make an instalation guide for : "Cyberpunk Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing and Stutter" from Nexus? The Ultra RT/PT seems very interesting for everyone
Nope, you just launch it the normal way. If you launch from redlauncher just be sure to enable mods. If you use the launcher skip the mods will load automatically if launching from steam or gog.
When i get an error for renaming a mod it says this file may become unusable if i change the name of the archive. What should i do to prevent a break in my mod or mods? Also thank you for putting up a video like this 🫡
If you get this error on vortex and all you did was rename the archive file, it should be ok to just click save changes. Renaming a mod archive should not break it.
Hey I think I'm managing it alright for now. Just the occasional troubleshooting cos "it works fine on my system but not theirs for some reason". Thanks for offering though, I appreciate it and will let you know if I do.
So.. go to Nexus, read the instructions for the mod, do what the instructions tell you.. profit? This video is like an instructional manual for breathing. duh

I actually haven't used many mods that alter V unfortunately, so I don't really know much about it :(. But if I do get into it in the future, I'll see about putting up a video.

Well...
If you visit Skyrim, now or FO4, hell FNV, as well they all require a good amount.

This got so real when you jokingly said you reinstalled your game 11 times 😂
Great video , love your work
Excellent video!! Thank you for making this, as in the beginning it can be very overwhelming for some.
Thanks Krush! This one really reiterated some important points I’ve learned from your channel! 🤘💯

Also. I only run the game from the folder. Not from steam launcher.
This was so much more help than any other video. Thank you so much

does renaming mods for load order break the "check for updates' vortex feature?

Hi Krush
Many thanks for great videos on CP 2077 mods.
I just used the mods that needed to just copy in the folders because I was looking at what it all needs and I’m like nah bro I’m fine. Might install for my next playthrough at some time
My exact reaction when I first started modding haha, saw 3 different file types and 2 different folders and took 13 steps back
you can also drag and drop the zip file into Vortex and then Vortex will do the rest
So now that we're on 2.1... trying to do it manually, trying to use vortex.. sigh. I just can't get it to work. I'm not giving up.. I've had to uninstall the game multiple times, I will get this

Should be a simple choose the correct one for your system, choose the correct vram file, and the one that possible for your hardware.

You mean modding to crack the game version? Not that I'm aware of atm.
@KrushSG I already using for moding crack version phantom 2.01 working well only I dnt know how to add new cars 😅😅🤣😅

You'd be surprised how many don't read the instructions. Breathing apparently don't come naturally to everyone.
