they can easily smoke and use AT gun to attack ground
but im more happy to see new player joining the genre
A good player will just smoke your emplacments and blow them up with charges
If you have a halftrack to reinforce the flaks, satchels wont do anything as they only decrew and dont damage the actual emplacement
This strategy might not work anymore or not work for long. Arty got quite a bit buffed and emplacements nerfed. Its gonna be harder to keep em functional under artillery fire. I think eventually, at some point you end up with roughly similar balance as CoH2 or 1. Static defences are too costly and too fragile to high caliber attacks or indirect fire. Problem with static defences always remain the same, namely, once the enemy knows where they are, shells start raining in and you cant relocate them!
It's a damn shame, I thought you stopped making content, but low and behold, you've been here the whole time making great videos... It's a shame youtube had to shadowban you especially with how many subs you have..
I recommend you still check out COH1 and COH2, and if you do specifically use and enable the mods:
Blitzkrieg and Wikinger respectively for COH1 and COH2.
It adds a lot of additional content, makes engagements extra lethal, and includes and increased zoom level. But is far less balanced for competitive play, it’s a fun comp stomp game.
They’re still relatively up to date as the mods still get patched to this day.
I've ben playing COH for 10 years was semi competitive at one time in multiplayer but by becoming old it kind of fell off. I always heard about the mods, never really understood how to use them or what they did. Have a good link on how to get started with the mods on those games?
Loved the video @TheDevildogGamer! Can't wait for the next video man! I saw @BaronVonGames' video on "Company of Heroes 3" when it came out and he had a big fight on his hands as the American Army. He kept getting into a Tug of war over some of the Capture Points and even had his Paratroopers getting Artillery Strikes from Nebelwerfer's at one point.

Looks like the fun! I've never touched multiplayer in COH, I generally just play the campaigns and maybe skirmish against AI but I really recommend COH 1 and 2 campaigns (especially 1). The campaign in 3 has so far been really good.
The game just came out. everyone is an expert on day 4.
this needs to get balanced as well as guastatori. flamers also do too much damage. besides that the game is lit!
I think guastatori should be left as they are and what has to be nerfed are flamethrowers overall. Either the range or damage must be nerfed because that 1 tick flame takes away 50% Health Points of the unit instantly. And it's too strong on every unit (engineers, pioneers etc.) not only Guastatori
@@PatwasPolska When you light someone on fire...it does a lot of damage. Its not the damage that needs nerfed its the health of the flame thrower unit.
Turtling up is easy to counter in any RTS game if the opponent is competent; just consider the fact that all of the resources you spent on locking down stationary positions, the opponent can spend on mobile forces and artillery. Turtling might be able to stonewall out newer players that don't have a full grasp of the arsenal available to them, but it is a losing strategy at mid to high level play in any RTS.
even pre balance patch this strat is incredibly easy to beat

@@TheDevildogGamer yeah the whole game sucks ass. So many bugs. Sad seeing the prior games were amazing.
The game compared to previous games (on launch) CoH3 is as zoomed in as COH1, and less zoomed in than CoH2. Mods have change that perspective change and CoH3 team is considering options for 3.
At least one TH-camr did a side by side comparison at some point not sure I can post imgur links here.
I have to update my graphics in order to play it because it keeps on crashing for me.

Remember commanders! Smoke and fire.. Smoke and fire! Unless flamers, incendiary-grenades and -bombardments aren't they way in CoH 3 to destroy buildings anymore. Then its a lot of smoke and indirect explosive fire from tanks and AT-units.

only sadistic people walk a second or third time in this trap. the easiest way to counter is dont attack there and go to the other front. the player how is defending cant help so its 3 against 2...
this is actually pretty easy to deal with , this only works on new players

It`s definetly a game that takes getting used to - especially when you come from predecessors. Despite the flaws and the obvious beta state the game is in atm, I think the game is very promising and fun.

I love the game play and I would use the same strat too for lockdowns. like the british in CoH 1 with all their emplacements. However, as much as I love the CoH series, I just have this weird feeling about them ever since coh 2. Don't get me wrong i love the gameplay, but...coh 2 feels more cartooney? idk the right word for it. and coh 3 feels like it came out of a stop motion studio or something. Idk I just can't put my finger into it, but this is just my take tho. Plus, knowing the devs, there would be huge nerfs and retarded "balancing" the point they end up making a specific side OP and the other side simply lacking and they won't do shit about it afterwards. I can still remembered how they massacred the calliope and the pershing, like they're not even that OP. they could've just kept the munitions for the ability and main gun to defend itself while limiting its numbers down to 2 spawns. then the pershing basically gets clapped with marder and hetzer spam, like the hetz basically acts like an uparmored panther, while in reality it has thin armor just angled. the jeeps don't do shit. the germans basically had everything except arty spam. and don't get me started on coh 2. it was a lil bit better, but still had many issues. Idk, I've lost faith in the dev team in general as well.
