Beautiful, was there in 2000 and loved it, was also there basically by myself, loved every minute of it. Spent the night in a hotel down from there and was pretty creepy as I was the only guest that night, very dark and very quite.... No mention and or Bigfoot sighting, the month we were there the employees and locals were all worked up over a recent sighting... This is a definite stop if you are in the area, thanks for sharing!
@ruinsane100 I wished I could remember but it was one of those small u shaped hotels literally about a mile from Trees of Mystery. It was creepy as all hell, reminded me of one of those horror murder movies, I mean my car was the only car in the lot. This area was so cool to be in, lots to see and do, explore, if you ever get a chance definitely give it a try!
What a cool place! May I ask if you are normally afraid of heights? We are planning to visit the area soon and my husband is not fond of heights (that's putting it nicely). I want to try to encourage him to do this with me. But if someone who isn't normally afraid still found this scary, then I won't bother trying to get him up there. Thanks!
No I’m not really afraid of heights. It’s just a little uncomfortable being so high just being held up by a cable. If he is REALLY afraid of heights he will not like the sky ride. Unfortunately the only other way to get to the top of the hill is to walk and that is going to be a TASK. There are some incredible views at the top.
@@Desert.Sky.Adventures Thanks for the reply! By the "sky ride" do you mean a gondola? Or do you mean the rope bridges? Sorry, I'm a little confused about how the place is set up.
Yes I mean the gondola ride. The sky bridge would probably be frightening too but at least there he could always turn around and go back. Once you’re in that gondola there’s no turning back!
