Hi Michelle, my advice is do not drink coffee while on your period and don't eat spicy food, try to eat light food and black tea, it helps your period cramps

Things that helped me with period cramps: 1- make sure to not expose the middle part( stomach until half your thighs) to cold /wind/air. always wear clothes to cover that area. Cold/air could cause harsher cramps 2- dont get cold, no cold drinks , no walking barefoot.. etc 3- warm herbal drinks ( anise,camomile,mint,cinnamon stick) i mix them up & boils them for 5 minutes then i drink it. 4- de stressing ( walking out for fresh air, gentle yoga, massages , funny movies .. etc) helps with insomnia and hormonal balances 5- eat lots of fruits and veggies ,, lack of vitamins can make things worse. 6- dont fight pms .. if you wanna cry let ir out.. want to scream ? Throw your pillow left and right lol.
