If i have my personal minumums and the day of my checkride are something above my personal minimums as the wind for example.. can i tell the DPE that i decide not go because there are some condition out of my minimums and im not feeling safe? Whats suppose to expect of he or she?

HI Alfredo. Yes, you are PIC for your checkride, and so if the conditions are outside your personal minimums you would be expected to cancel as part of good Aeronautical Decision Making. You would still be able to take the oral knowledge part of the checkride, but then discontinue the flight portion is the conditions are outside your personal minimums, which you would then reschedule just the flight with the DPE for a later date.

Saying aviation is not inherently dangerous is crazy.

We appreciate you expressing your concerns regarding aviation and safety. While there are some aspects of aviation that can be considered dangerous, our intent is to inform pilots about risk management and safety protocols to ensure that every flight is as safe as possible and pilots are prepared during flight operations. Please let us know if you have additional concerns or any questions. Thank you!
