Oh my, even after 15 years the Pokémon is still booming business in Japan, judging by this video and the several occasions Hikakin shows us candy with Pokémon presents (or Pokémon with candy present, hahaha!) but was it even allowed to film in there? As I recall many Japanese stores have a policy against filming inside. The staff did not seem to care though :)
Pokemon originated in JP. Because Pokemon was such a hit in JP, they decide to release a international version later. That make much sense that JP was so in of pokemon
Not only them, some customers are too. It's common for japanese people (I guess chinese too, not sure) to go out wearing masks if they have a cold or something like that so they won't pass it to others. :)
wow hygiene sure is taken seriously in Japan with those surgical masks but i guess those precautions have to be made in a country thriving with so many people, i live in Australia and our population is 22 million which is dwarfed by Japan a country less than a 10th the size and with a population of 127 million. I really must go there
