Cartman losing his amusement park and his money at the same time is without a doubt one of the most satisfying commupance/karma moments in animation history.
Cartman should’ve had the park open to the public 6 days a week just to make all the money, and use the spare day for himself. It’s an everyone wins scenario
Exactly had he done just that plus kept records and paid his taxes he would have never lost the park and by the time he was 18 and graduated high school he would of been a multi millionare and set for life.
Used this as a demonstration of schadenfreude (joy in response to other people's misfortune/pain) and gluckschmerz (anger/sadness in response to other people's good fortune/joy) in a psychology lecture recently, it was perfect.
8:45 Serves you right, Cartman! He was so selfish and stupid to think he could have the park for himself, and to keep everyone out. Much added, he should’ve kept the park open to make more money and not selling it because of his distaste for charity and sharing. TAKE IT AS YOUR OWN MEDICINE, CARTMAN!!!!!
Cartman chooses always the Hard way to learn from his mistakes. He thinks he can run the amusementpark without any consequenses, he did not think about paying taxes and other bills to IRS and so ever. He's running a buisness so to say, when he's making money on the visitors reluctanly. Always enjoying when he fails 😂😂
@@svekman79 that’s a good point and the truth. I’ve wanted to say to Cartman, in front of his face: “This is what you deserve for your selfishness, greediness and your stupidity, BITCH!!!!”
Because of this video, I texted my wife asking her to schedule my funeral on a weekday in the event that I die before her. Cartman had a point about funerals held on a Saturday.
1 idea my grandma and I came up with was that Cartman could’ve closed down the park 1 day a week (preferably Sunday) for “maintenance” where inspectors will check over the rides and Cartman would be the “test rider” He wouldn’t have to worry about lines as well as make money
But that's not what Cartman wants. He wants to ride the rides at his leisure, not once a week. We saw how upset he was when he had to let in just two people.
Cartman is an idiot. Because in the nearest future episodes of South Park he could have saved his $1 million dollars in order for him to get whatever he wants instead of asking his mom for money. He could have gotten the Nintendo Wii he wanted and then the iPad and other things he likes. But, instead he bought something that he knew he couldn’t get the money back and then got bankrupt for a $5 thousand dollar discrepancy from buying that amusement park. He could have just saved the money through out the years. He’s selfish by not saving the money or sharing it with his friends and family. That’s why all his money was taken away. Personally, if I had $1 million dollars I would buy video games tattoos and newest clothes and the rest of the money I give it to my mom. But, no I’m kind of poor for now.
Y''all are missing the best part: 01:51. Just perfectly encapsulates the essence of Cartman. If $1million cash fell into his lap he's not sharing a dime of it unless its in HIS interest 😅😂
The security guy makes about $60 a day, only $420 a week before taxes if he works 7 days a week. If he works 8 hours a day, he would be making about $7.50/hr but this episode is from 2001.
@@tripsaplenty1227 if it was in 2001 it still wouldn’t have been bad. Like obviously it’s not even livable now but a lot of inflation happened since then.
If I ever invested in a theme park like eric, I'd call my theme park PLEASURE ISLAND! I'd be like eric and the opposite of the coachman. Nobody can get in. Especially pinnochio and lampwick! 🤣

It would be even funnier if all those businesses that tried copying Eric's "business model" sued him because people never came back to their shops because they were so rude. They claim Eric "fooled them" and cost them their business.
Lmfao the people getting triggered over ONE short ad when the person put it up FOR FREE. I will be shocked if they work a job above minimum wage and get married if their tolerence is THIS BAD lol

And dumbass didnt realize he had to pay taxes for the property space and pay the irs and insurance i know its a cartoon i really dont feel bad that he lost all his money lol serves him right and i could picture him in court against the lawyers
He was also really stupid for selling it away after how much money it started making and ending up 13K in debt and he can't buy the theme park back after the IRS took all of his money away, but maybe Mr Garrison was right when suggesting that he should have just put the money away in a savings account instead of buying the theme park in the first place.
@@benjaminmichaels4347 Let's hope that the IRS will put that money to better use and hand it out to people that need it more than Cartman ever will. But yes, someone like his mom should have warned Cartman that buying an amusement park means paying for taxes and insurance, so it's not possible to have it all to yourself if you want to keep out bad people which is why all the staff are necessary to keep it afloat.
