- Leonard made this video with help from friends so a DVD could be made and sent to all the nursing homes and shut ins. He wanted everyone to have a chance to see the mountain and come to know God loved each one of them.

This video got me choked up a bit. It's incredible to see what one man can accomplish just from wanting to spread a positive message and be genuinely proud of it. Leonard had a great heart and it shows. I hope this mountain and everything Leonard put into this project remains as a cherished landmark for years to come. Rest in peace Mr. Knight. Thanks Justin Scarred for sharing this tour of a kind man and his amazing accomplishment.

You can see it from space! I went during August to see this masterpiece wow make sure you bring lots of water temperatures way over 100 degrees. And to think that this man worked in that type of heat to build this is even more amazing!!

I just now watched the video, and I liked it a lot. I know that general area out near the Salton Sea, and I've driven by before, but I've never stopped to look at the various sights like Salvation Mountain, Slab City, and Bombay Beach. I think I'll make a trip out there to visit each one, and then head off to the Anza Barrego Desert.
Leonard Knight was a dear, sweet man and I am so glad he was able to make this video. Justin Scarred, a great admirer of Leonard's just put out a video about Salvation Mtn and he draws great inspiration from both Leonard and the mountain. It's easy to see why. I found this channel through a link Justin posted on his channel.

I was blessed to visit Slab City on Wednesday June 2nd met a Pastor by the name of Nick who is working to build a Church and cooling building in the community of Slab City. I understand you are in heaven now Pray for us as God leads us and what to do about helping share the word of God in Slab City and across the world AMEN
