I am just wondering how about to those occupations that needs a positive skills assessment as what I know other's should have a 3 or more years experience to be able to proceed with skills assessment and then apply for a 482 visa after November. So I thinks the change would benefit the students who will be finishing their studies in Australia and also for the occupations that doesn't require a skills assessment. Am i right?
Thats correct! This will greatly benefit international students who complete their studies in Australia as well as occupations that do not require a skills assessment. If you have an occupation/country of passport that requires a skills assessment for a 482 then nothing changes in that regard.
Hi, thank you for this informative video. Could you do a video on how to secure to secure a tech sponsor and the hurdles involved in it. I'm onshore on a student visa with a positive skills assessment for 261312 (Developer Programmer) and two years of experience. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment! We have done a video interviewing the founder of a platform called WorkInAus. Which is an excellent recruitment platform where you can sort by businesses who are open to sponsor visa holders. Let us know how you go
