Not saying reset comps are a hard thing to play, but LS makes it just pretty interesting, while also bringing up good points about early game macro.

The moment this coaching session starts as it does, you just realise these people are uncoachable. It doesn't matter what actually happened in the game when people don't care to hear it, or if they claim to have made a mistake over tilt (whether it is true or not). Team needs therapy, not coaching.

Long time LS fan, just wanted to say I'm extremely grateful and appreciative of this type of content. I think I can speak for many others that this is what drew me in to your content from the very beginning, especially things like relating league macro to game theory that is more prominent in other genres, ie beatdown vs control.
Watching LS coach is fascinating

LS is actually doing a good job trying to balance these guys ego while trying to package feedback as mainly positive things.
I am actually impressed by this since he usually can be a bit blunt about trying to bring (or hammer) his point across.
Was waiting for you to coach these guys since they first started looking for a coach I’m glad you did and it didn’t disappoint. team comp gap was crazy enemies were checkmated anything related to teamfights. Beautiful.

This team's main problem is that every single play someone ends flaming someone. They can't communicate without comments that instead of helping, they only provoke more fights
Main problem of 70% of the playerbase (I randomly came up with that percentage)
This teams problem is Yamato.
@@Davidzinuhaha I mean i think it's both Yamato and Tarzaned. Even when Tarzaned isn't flaming he tries to shot call when in reality Blade should be the one making the calls, he's usually playing engage or some bruiser that can carry a fight so in general he should be calling who to hit and when to use spells.
@@pittaaaabread They're all bad in their own ways. Even detention is just not that good (he did great here but he usually ints and gets solo killed), and Dantes... you already know. Blade is playing soloq toplane, which works because top lane role lmao. Yamato has 0 chill and anger issues and will instantly flame on the simplest mistake but he's decent and actually understands the game. Tardy hates the role he's playing, has no clue about it and has to watch Dantes doing a shit job on his role, and we already know how Tardy is, he's very passive aggressive and tilts almost as hard as yamato.
TLDR: they're all doing poorly and are frustrated because of different reasons, but none of them are wrong on their frustrations, I don't think so at least.

16:34 I wonder what the effect on learning (and also a diffusion on Tarzans mistake, one could argue) it would have, if LS would take a stop here. Tell all the players to look at bot lane and ask them to agree on what should be done bot. Like just a 5sec pause make everyone look at all the arguments for a Team action.
I'm sure it must become some sort of drill then, that even if you have spaced out moment, you are still able to recognize what to do, stoping you from making mistakes or simply reacting faster.
hell ya who's the beatdown is probably the most important piece of game theory written, really wish it was more approachable, as even to magic players its hard to follow

im pretty much a youtube only frog now, were there any draft discussions, and comp theory crafting sessions as part of the coaching? or did everyone just pick what they liked
judging by the team comp im sure LS at least had a say in that
there were some, vod on twitch this draft was very different fromw hat they were playing before
At the start LS asked them to type all of their champs so he could work with some kind of comp.
You can watch replay through Dantes/Yamato/Detention/LS twitch (without subbing) from there it's easy to find draft disc or whatever ur looking for
It definitely looks a lot like an LS draft, most of these picks are either some of his favorite blind people picks and build around champs or favorite counterpicks.
Jinx being the build around and blind
Karthus being blind, but also able to be build around
Malphite being a counterpick to jayce, that together with karthus ult and Blitz hooks can insta secure jinx a win
As for naafiri not sure if he had a say on it, but it has good skillshot blocking in this comp, which works well into Ahri, while also becoming extremely hard to Duell with a karthus ult in back up.
Her high single target burst also both ensures she could be a tool for defense, in case you don’t get to kill vayne with the first load of this shotgun wombo combo reset comp and offense to burst down the blitz target.
Best thing for this team is, that it has so many options though, malphite can go in, but honestly, if anyone gets close to jinx blitzcrank silence into malphite ult is basically an insta kill here.
So getting in is also really hard.

Would Vayne count as a champion that wants an champion in the enemy team to die quickly?
I know she doesn't have any explicit mechanics that play off of low or dead enemies, but she prefers to be in one versus one scenarios.
Would that translate to trying to have at least one enemy champ die faster to reduce the enemies she has to face and create more of a skirmish senario?
I would not say so. Vayne loves teamfights with champions on her team that can disrupt and protect her. Like thresh, malphite and orn etc. That makes the enemies split up and makes Vayne be able to find the 1v1 in the middle of a teamfight.

Dantes makes a lot of bad calls should maybe take a bit of a back seat on leading.
The problem is the others are so self obsessed they cannot speak to everyone. Dantes is maybe the worst shotcaller in the group but is the only one able to tell everyone else in the group to STFU and not have 4 people arguing with him about why he is wrong like it would be if any of the others called the shots.

And ginger is a silent type of player. Sadly Dantes is the only one in disposition to shotcall and he doesn't have the best shotcalling.
