I had the Typhon 3s for Christmas 😊 not used it yet but was advised by the shop I had it from it would be quicker than the 223s, must admit I do prefer the new body and clipless feature and colours but saying I prefer the 3s wheels better.
@andyb2880 I've got the 3s older version, too. It's about 2 or 3 mph quicker on stock gearing. Which ain't massive, but what makes the old seem a lot quicker is the punch settings. The older one with punch turned up will wheelie, etc. The new 223s feels more tamed. Personally, I like the look of the new one better but the punch of the old one.
@jonhowland4985 💯% right. But it would get expensive with the cost of typhon 223s, new electronics plus a receiver and transmitter. But it does give viewers a true reflection of what they can do and what to expect, i guess 🤔
@frederickgrassie3383 I will do some bits on the car in the coming weeks. There's a fair bit of content I have planned for the channel, as i always try to work ahead, please bare with me. Thank you for supporting the channel it's really appreciated!
@Flipside.rc8176 waiting for another new rc to turn up in 2 weeks, then I'll be ready.! In the meantime, I still got loads of new boxes to get through 🤔 On the plus side, there is more fresh content on its way!
@FAKE-NAME I'm on the fence with it at the minute as I've recently brought the kraton 6 EXB v2, which in theory is meant to be the higher spec car. If I buy the v6, I'd end up upgrading it to the exb spec, then some.... If I upgrade the v2 exb, it should be more cost-effective 🤔 If there's enough interest, I'll buy it, which would mean I have 3 kraton 6s as I have the 6s exb v1 and v2, and the 8s line up, too. It all comes down to what the viewers want to see, too, I guess.
@thercstore. That's alot of kratons and thats amazing. You almost need to get the V6 that way you have the entire kraton line up then you could do video comparing the cars between each other for newbies like me. There's no local hobby shop for me to even go see these things in person so seeing them compared to each other in videos is as good as it gets for me and I find those videos extremely helpful as that will help me choose which car to drop the $$$$on
@FAKE-NAME i totally appreciate this! If there's enough requests, I'll happily do it. But from my end, I purchase all these cars with my own money, so dropping £650.00 - $815.00usd is a fair bit of money that I could spend on another rc all together. Obviously, if there's a demand, I don't mind doing it. But I'm sure you can appreciate why I am on the fence. Let's see. I do appreciate the feedback as this is what I like. Knowing what viewers want to see.
My honest opinion is for the money that the arrma cost id rather buy a redcat valkyrie it's still cheaper and 4s. Its an animal. Although I guess In the uk u don't have the redcats which sucks but that's what I would buy personally. And the valkyrie tr is exactly what I chose to buy my self
@Booth73 You're right! Unfortunately, we don't have Redcat in the UK. 4s platforms are the sweet spot for track action. The last redcat I brought from the USA cost me £400.00 over the USA retail price. So I'll pick some up in a few months when I'm in the USA.
It's understandable with a lower 80amp 2 in 1 esc / reciever + lower 100kv motor. Probably dosn't bode well gearing up to much on the pinion to get more speed with only 80a esc. I was going to get some of the new 3s line, however I think im going to stick the the old V3 line that I already have all of the V3 line.
@gillian9178 If they stuck to the older electronics, the new lineup would be more desirable. It's still a great car, but if you own the old one, i think the lower punch settings on the new one will be more noticeable.

Excellent. We need a video of removing all three diffs and possibly a shock upgrade when available!
Thank you😊

Still prefer the new Typhon BLX Grom and definitely faster and cheaper
@cyrusshellard3905 it's is faster, but unfortunately, the grom will not work on this terrain (grass) as it's too small.
What app are you using for the gps?
@1stopshopntok I'm using the GNSS gps module sky rc app.
How big is that car? Like 15"long or 20" long.
