Wow Katie is an inspirational & independent woman! I work with parents who have learning disabilities, most of them were told growing up they will never have a job, a family, a home or drive a car and they have proved every single person who tried to hold them back wrong! I learn from them every day & they motivate me to keep going and never give up. Katie nothing will ever hold u back in life as long as you believe you can do it you will achieve it!!! Congratulations on your new home and may you have so many happy memories there 🥳✨

I honestly think Katie is transforming into your mum, almost like your mum is showing everyone she’s living on through Katie... I don’t really know what it is but in this last year Katie has really started to look like your mum & now she’s having parts of your mums house in hers... people always say “oh she will live on” to comfort people when they grieve, but I just think your mum is REALLY living on... it’s so bittersweet because obviously you would rather her be there in the flesh but I think it’s so lovely that your mums spirit glows within your family. 🤍 bit of a rant but I’ve really been thinking about it whenever I see anything you post / vlog

I’m literally in TEARS. I’ve never loved and wished so much happiness on a family I’ve never met. But honestly you guys deserve the world. Hi Kate, I just wanted to say what a strong, inspirational woman you’re. In my full time jobs I work with adults who have learning disabilities ranging from Autism, schizophrenia and ADHD, all of them will never get the experience of having a job, a family of their own, a home or drive a car. But that doesn’t hold them back from living their lives, yes it can be challenging sometimes but they’re such strong minded people, which sometimes people can never see, like helping them make a cup of tea independently or going out into community! I learn from them every day & they motivate me to keep going and never give up.
I have got my own home. Due to sadly losing my dad who I miss everyday. But I like to think he is looking down on me with the proudest smile on his face. Just like your mum is looking down on you and Ellie, she would be proud of you both❤️
Your family is so beautiful; I am crying at how happy katie is with her new apartment and the reaction from you all. She is so special and this is an amazing thing to really set her up and not have added pressures of everyday life during this hard time.
