I personally wouldn't knock through to the dining room, keep your loving room cosy & snug. I would be more tempted to knock through from kitchen to dining so you have a kitchen, dining, living spanning the back of your house. We did something similar and find we use the dining table much more!! x

I think you should knock the wall between the kitxhen and dining room down and have it open plan with huge sliding doors and keep the living room sperate
I agree knock the wall down between the kitchen and dining area and build a lovely orangery extension off the dining area part so you would have a large kitchen / dining / sitting area . The house looks amazing , you are like a breath of fresh air Xx

I love that you have traditional colours! RE the living room wall - mine was open growing up in my Dad's house and it just never felt cosy! But my cousins have a big archway in theirs with folding doors and it looks fab at christmas with the tree in the middle and because you can choose to have the doors open or closed it's much nicer!
