In your experience,on small rivers like Savannah river in GA,do ducks usually decoy going upstream,downstream or either or is it 100 percent the wind since small river bottom usually don't have a lot of wind.thank you for all your help and informative videos!
Spinners can definitely make a big difference. I run them almost every day unless im in the south. Which I don't consider you to be. Id always start with it and then pull it if things aren't working out. But 9 times out of 10 it's your hide, not the decoys messing them up.

I've never noticed current making a difference. Usually just wind.

Are spinners a waste? I really hate to buy one unless you think it makes a drastic improvement. I think water agitation is better than a spinner.
