Elaine made her decision and paid the price. Cheaper is very rarely better.

It was a very bad and expensive decision, everything that her "camp" thought they would gain, they actually lost. She was poised to break the world record, and who knows. Can you imagine how much money she has lost over the past two to three years? Sometimes, those closest to you can hinder your progress instead of helping to further it. I'm really sad all this happened to her.

I once heard a pastor say, a wife should follow her husband. I said to myself no no no. So if he is going into a pit I should follow. That can't work. Elaine husband is not the best person to help her make decisions. Ans when she was lying about the switching at the get go, I didn't like it ... but who am I to say what. Put the pride aside. Make a sincere and genuine apology and return like the prodigal son.

Who says that she wants to return? How can you prove that returning would be in her best interest? How can you prove that she had already made up her mind to leave when she said that she wasn't leaving? How dare you conclude that her husband is not the best to help her make decisions. Who are you to know so much about people's personal affairs. Life is a gamble. Elon Musk lost more money than anyone in history but he keeps on pushing it and breaking barriers. I respect Elaine for doing what she felt was best for her. Maybe her decisions prevented a mental breakdown. Who knows. We live and learn. She didn't kill anyone.

Y I believe that her husband I'd nit the best person to help her make decisions on the track. He does not have the training and knowledge for senior athletes at this level. On the other hand....wanted to switch.....I believe she should at least 1 more year with Franco. She is a more delicate person than many other athletes. She didn't kill anyone....that is so far from the discussion. Also, she is still my favorite 😍 💓. I was an athlete myself. Vere tech of course.....back in days.....from Ricky Waits to Paul Stone.

Well...what is done is done. Elaine finished, she finished, she made her decision and a lot of bad vibes followed. She is not a slave nor a purchased position of whoever. At the end of her days, she will be the one to live with her choice. Now things have played out, and all can see the beginning to the end. Many can look at the twist and turns and know what has happened. Not so when you are faced with a should I or shouldn't I.
All I know I live in hope that Elaine can come back, but if not she can start to have children, or take up her wellbeloved modeling, what ever I just wish her God's speed and God's blessings.

You are not wrong about the happiness part, but Elaine decided to leave because of ego, not because it was the best decision for her, as you can see. The training she had with MVP was obviously healthier than what she does with her husband, as stated in the video. She would've had a better season if she had stayed. She no longer has anyone to compare herself to. The competition between Shelly and her at the MVP club actually made her better, regardless of whether she was happy or not. Now, Shericka Jackson is kicking her butt because she stayed consistent and, most importantly, stayed humble, loyal, and grateful.

You need to get back on term with him. We all make mistakes in life, and I believe what has happen in the past can be mended. Talk to your husband, the close people around you, let some one reach out to Fanno on your behalf. or you role in privately and chat with him like a daughter to a father. Let him know how wrong you were for what you did, and you'd like to return to the camp, and you're asking for forgiveness. Work it out financially with him. U.S. is our biggest rival and the trust no one and neither should Jamaica trust them. Elaine could have run much faster than 10.54 if MVP had provided professional help. Instead he wanted to manage the situation himself and still knew that it was temporary. He has his motives and people must recognize that it’s Paul Francis who is Shericka’s coach as he’s unable to coach Puma athletes since he’s signed to Nike.

I think there is one more issue with Elaine that many fail to consider. I have read and heard that MVP is with Nike. Nike is the same brand that treated Sha'Carri like a star before she won anything. Elaine didnt get half of what Sha'Carri have gotten and she is the fastest female alive. Sha'Carri just got a street, a track (something) named after her and signed a very lucrative contract. Kudos to her, I have nothing against her. But I can see how Elaine would be upset with Nike. I think Elaine left Nike and also left MVP in favor of Puma because Puma offered her more.

@@Simsdee It was a business move. We gain some. We lose some. I wish Elaine the very best. We don't witness her struggles. We don't know the whole truth. All we are is her on the track. Let's not pretend that we know what's best.

Elaine is an achiever, she knows her value she does not have to wait around these people sponsorship. Elaine is a brand herself. I did not see these brands winning double Olympics gold, think about it i see Elaine as having more value. You see most times the money or the sponsorship is secondary to what someone achieves personally.

Nike is not only an American company but it’s a business. In order to get substantial endorsement one has to prove influence and tangibles. No business is ever going to give an employee/contractor what they deserve. Shacarri was a collegiate phenomenon that had her own clout before she turned Pro. In fact she had more followers than SFP, Elaine, & Shericka who were Olympic champions put together which equals more revenue. Favor is not always fair. If all was fair they’d would’ve been top billing off their track & field accomplishments alone. Now Shacarri had global mass appeal. She proved that in Kenya at the Kip Keno Classic where the security had to come and get her off the field because the fans had swarmed her. That had never happened before.
However, something tells me she got backdoored by her own with Nike and found out about it and left. I bet the coach got more than she did.

Well Sha’ Carri is better at marketing her persona, her brand, it’s just the vibes. Nike is just doing business and goes with what’s best with sales.

You’re blind! You’re talking about a woman that ran 10:54 under a coach that has broken 10 second in like 2 to 3 times in almost 3 years! And yet you are not taking what the most successful female sprint coach has to say? 🤦🏽‍♂️

In post race interview at trials, where Elaine did not win. Franno said not to worry about her, because he FINALLY learn to manage her injury and she is un the best shape of her life.
Shelly was not injury prone. Its Elaine ruuning from succesful injury management that was stupid

Thank you. And Shelly ran the fastest times in her career AFTER she left. Only God knows if injury wouldn't have derailed her just the same if she was still at MVP.....🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
