I have never seen a more gentle and sensitive couple. Beautiful to watch.
I will be seeing Willie in July. You will be with me in my heart!
Thank you kindly 💚
This song was written by Paul Williams, and is much more than a children's song. You must never give up hope. There was also an incredible version of this song done by Kenny Loggins. Willie Nelson is a very unique singer and puts his own emotions and style in everything that he perorms. I love your reaction as always ❤️.
Thank you 😊
WOW!!! Profound!!! I have heard Willie for decades. I have heard this song for decades….I believe I have even seen Willie perform on the Muppet Show. I have never seen this video until today. I was teared up within the first 30 seconds. The profound emotions that this sweetly and simply done video so softly swept over me was as great as such special life events like holding your new baby or grandbaby for the first time, holding the hand of someone you love as they gently pass on, remembering the first time joys as a child or falling in love with the person who understands you so well no words are needed.
Thank you both. The love of my life and I….a pair of 64 year olds LOVE your reactions. Thank you both for your transparency, genuine responses and sharing your love for each other with us.
Exactly what you said. I'm 62 have heard alot of Willie have heard this song many times but have never heard the two together.
Thank you kindly 💚 Much love to both of you ☺️
To me this song is a gentle reminder that although we are all different, we all have dreams. The sweet simplicity of the song has always made me teary-eyed! Thank you for this and how did I never hear Willie do this in all of my years!
The combination of the lyrics, Willie's magnificent voice and phrasing, and the mellow ring of the guitar named Trigger, brings what I can only call a melancholy joy, as contradictory as that may sound.
I needed this song right now. I'm grieving the loss of someone very near to me and struggling with that loss every day wondering how to go on in the face of my new life reality. "Rainbow Connection" reminds me that life is still beautiful and that the magic may be in the laughter of the children playing, or the many friends and family who gather near. They are my rainbow connection right now. Of course I sobbed through Willie Nelson's singing this song, it brought up memories of the past; but rainbows are also a symbol of beauty and hope for the future.
Condolences. I tear to this also The loss sucks but how wonderful you had your time with the person who was dear to you .
I'm so sorry for your loss, I hope your heart finds peace again soon. ❤
Big hug from both of us 💚 Music helps to go through difficult times. Love and peace from Romania ☺️
Thanks guys. You are important to me. It is so good to find people who feel the same way I do about music. 💕
Thank you. Love and peace from Romania 💚
Magically simple, healthy, wholesome and holy. Straight to the heart.
Exactly 💚
"Hello Walls" "Whiskey River" "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain". A big fan of Willie since '75. The original Outlaw Country star. ☮🤎🎶
Kermit the frog does Beautiful job singing lt and Willie's is beautifully moving to me. ❤ Speaks volumes. ❤
“Happiness, not in another place but this place...not for another hour, but this hour.”
Walt Whitman
Great quote. Thank you.
Can someone please pick me up off the floor? Between the song and your reaction I am so moved. Thank you for reminding me that I am still alive.
Big hug from Romania 💚
Love Willie Nelson For me, he is one of the best. He is a special man. I remember my dad listening to him. He also reminds me a lot of him. Sometimes I think that if he had grown old, he would have look like him. Abrazos chicos ❤
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL and BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE!!! LOVE WILLIE!! Thanks for the WONDERFUL REACTION!! I was tearing-up with you, Dominica!! JUST LOVELY!
Well said! "Simply beautiful and beautifully simple" Love it! 💚

I don't know when this video was shot but Willie is 91yrs old now. You need to explore his catalog, it's huge.
First sung by Kermit the Frog in "The Muppet Movie" and nominated for an Oscar as best song that year. Written by the great Paul Williams.
Carpenters also did a nice cover of this song.
❤❤❤Beautiful! Feel exactly the same way.
This song/video definitely tugs at the heartstrings. Tears are understandable.
Willie sounds great this is a wonderful song, Don't forget Kirmet the frogs rendition 😅 one of my favorites 😍 Peace✌️and Love❤ Gary😊
If you don't know much about Willie....he has written so many beautiful songs. Crazy is one them. He sings Angels Flying Too Close to the Ground and Just Breathe with his son Lucas. His talents reach so many genres. As always, love your reacton.😊
I sang this for my brother's wedding, per his bride's kids' request. I didn't know Willie had sung this. I apologized to the guitar accompaniest because I felt my voice was getting 'mature' as I age, and said I felt like I was starting to sound like (then already old) Willie Nelson. He said, "John, always be yourself. But if you can't be yourself, be like Willie Nelson." :)
"You Were Always On My Mind ", "Moonlight in Vermont ", so many!
There was something about when Willie started picking the short lead that closed out the song; my eyes watered at the same moment.
From Willie, check out "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain", "You Were Always On My Mind", "Seven Spanish Angels" (with Ray Charles), "On The Road Again" and "Poncho And Lefty".
Music is so powerful. It can move the heart, stimulate the mind and give peace to the body like nothing else. It reaches into levels of our spirit where nothing else can.
Willie Nelson. King Of The Stoner's!!!
I absolutely love this song. It's so simple and beautiful, yet makes you feel nostalgic and bittersweet. I've only heard it sung by Kermit the Frog and even that made me cry. Hearing this version...oh my...Willie Nelson is amazing and he makes this song even better. 💔❤️
Love you guys, you are the best. 🥰 Let's keep the kids in us alive and not give a sh*t to what others think of us! 👌🏻😅
Yes! Well said 😁💚
@@MerchantOfAlba Willie singing together with his son Lukas is heavenly, for example a cover song Just Breathe. It is so heartwrenchingly beautiful. ❤️💔
Loved it MOA! ☘️🇺🇲
You would love The Carpenter's version
This song is up there with the Gene Wilder, " a world of pure imagination. " Speaks to generations.
I love the introduction of this video, particularly the two guys on the bench who stop playing and look at one another with a stunned look on their faces. I think I would react the same way if a music icon like Willie Nelson walked past me in the park one day.
Check out the interview with Paul Williams with The Tennessean about the making of this song.
Saludos desde Monterrey, México
I love this song so much, and Willie did a beautiful job, but in my head I could only hear Kermit singing, lol. Sounds silly to say, but there is something so sweet and innocent about the muppet version. Thank you so much, this put me in a lovely mood for the day ahead. 😊✌❤
If you can, check out his CMA performance with Kacey Musgraves of this song. It will rip your heart out and make the big tears flow when you realize that you are watching a moment!
Willie Nelson has decades and decades of music to check out. He is an amazing human being to learn about. Hope you really do listen to (lots) more of his music. I would recommend "Just Breathe", because that's the song I've been listening to the most lately
I believe Paul Williams wrote this song. Actor/singer.
Yes, he wrote a lot for the Muppets , but he was also on the Muppet show one episode th-cam.com/video/ta7p1peG_-k/w-d-xo.html
I enjoyed watching this one with you! If you look into his album “Red Headed Stranger “ you won’t be disappointed. Released in 1975, the whole album tells a story set in the old Western era of US history. His voice is pretty much the same as it was back then but I can really hear the age in his voice in this video. Hands on the Wheel, was my favorite song when I was young! From “Red Headed Stranger “
Paul Williams is a great songwriter, you can check out his work with "Just an Old Fashioned Love Song", recorded by Three Dog Night.
Interesting. I'm watching this just having watched your reaction to Eva Cassidy's vid of "Over The Rainbow". I'm reminded that the rainbow is a symbol of God's promise. Happy Sunday.
React to On the Road Again by Willie Nelson one of his most popular well-known songs
You have to check out Blue Skies ❤
Hey kids, kermit, nailed it. Please react to the opening of The Muppet Movie, 1978...just a frog, in a swamp, on a log, with dreams , and a banjo. ❤
Great version by Willie but my heart remains with Kermit. 🐸
Didnt you guys react to patsy singing Crazy, that's a sing willie wrote when he was a guitarist in her band........
Willie does his own version of "Crazy" as well.
Yes, we did! 💚
There is a saying I heard long ago about Willie. "It matters not, whose ass is in the white house, so long as Willie Nelson is still king of America.".
Amazing 😁
The original Kermit version is great as well th-cam.com/video/YRPBUeVOimU/w-d-xo.html
Grow up? Naaa, I tried a couple times, just didn't work for me...😄 Another Great react, it is hard to find a bad Willie song...
Oh how wonderful. Keep the child in you alive forever 😁💚
Wow I think I need glasses my eyes dont write what my fingers spell...
My favorite version of this song is sung by Kermit the Frog.
Whiskey for my men Beer for my horses!!!!!!!!!! If you love me.
Thank you 👍
It's a song
I actually prefer Kermit the frogs version.
The Stones have a song called "Goodbye Ruby Tuesday"....
