wish i got used to the controls since they're confusing and not like skate (2007) or skate 3 where you use the buttons to push, triggers for grabs, and the sticks for spins, tricks, flips, for and moving. is there a way to have those controls in the game or is it preset to what it was programmed?
Ive had this game for three or four years and just now have a system that will run it. XL worked just fine on my old stuff, but, this one just wouldn't load. Im hoping it will be as dope as it looks.
Depends on what you're into, really. Definitely has much more steeper a learning curve to it, but once you get used to it, at its best it's really damn good. The added difficulty makes even skating around parks doing simple tricks and just kinda flowing around super rewarding
They keep trying to fully secure an animator. They’ve picked up a few this year, but the relationship between artists hasn’t molded well unfortunately.
bad to hear - really would love to the see the full potential it still looks like alpha animatons - the world looks nice.@@wasitworthit1 thanks for the info
@@TheTjark57 in addition to what was said above, finding and hiring the right guy for the job is no easy task. not only do they need an animator who's good at realism and creating animation sets that flow smoothly and transition seamlessly from one animation to another, they need the guy to at least be able to establish a good and detailed understanding of the motions of skateboarding. not only the mechanics, which are filled with very unnatural and unusual motions by the way (in case you've never really thought about it), but also the more subtle and subjective intricacies like style. so basically they're a small studio in need of nothing less than a triple A level realistic animator who also has to wrap his head around skateboarding on a much more detailed and "scientific" level than most skaters can.
This is possible. Loose your trucks and max your speed. Highline bridge , china banks its for me perfects spots for testing this.( tip. Try to go out of bounds in china banks. Have a steep hillbomb for dowhill and wobbles )😊
Cool lines man! I like the powerslide reverts down the big staircase hill one, I'm usually sending it way to fast down there 😅 6:20

Man they really gotta do something about the flip tricks in this game
They all look the same everytime. I’ll give it to skater xl on that everything else tho is great
animations are still so strange - instead of adding all these maps and turtles they should have 100% focused on animation flow and styles.
Umm, no.

@@deekusucksso they're looking for a needle in a haystack that they probably can't afford? Here's to hoping they find one who loves skating.
Those stair railings look kinda small compared to the guy.
why does the board get speed wobbles after every land damn

Probably because of manual catch.
Boards jiggling like jello lol
Wobbling 😢 Change the settings
