That's my sister!!! She took me all round Tobago. It is gorgeous!
Hey sister!
Been there mañy years ago, absolutely loved the country and its people.Even considered moving there 🇯🇲.
Great interview. She did a wonderful job with the description.
e.g I am Trinidadian with a Tobagonian mother and a St Lucian father. I'm married to a Tobagonian, living in Tobago.
Well i believed its no fault of Jamaica not having strong Caribbean links as T&T there Geographic location places them to the North Greater Antilles with the Cayman islands and some very cazy neighbors, whereby T&T is far south of the eastern Caribbean lesser Antilles where most of English speaking Caribbean islands located, many embassies and international services are located in Trinidad persons of the smaller islands visited Trinidad to access those services
My both parents mother and father were from Grenada and Barbados finds alot of that in Trinidad and tobago always some Caribbean links from your parents✌️
Good day Tobago is more layback , I love it quite and beautiful
I enjoyed this. She represented her adopted home very well. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks so much.
Nicole is so lovely and she spoke so honestly about Tobago! I fully enjoyed this interview. She's like a breath of fresh air!❤🇹🇹
Thank you!
How could u not love Di dumping and crab!!! U don’t know what missing.
Jamaican here married to a Trini!!
My Jamaican wife always leaves the island w/ a STACK of Mrs. Trims Crab n Dumpling!
Trinidadians love Jamaicans and Jamaicans love Trinidadians. Just the few who like to fight would start nonsense. We love our little banter and comparison good natured argument, but we love each other. That has been my experience. There are over 19,000 Jamaicans in Trinidad and we love them. I totally enjoyed this interview. Thank you.
So true...!!
Not in USA Jamaicans do not treat trinis well. I have had so many bad experiences with Jamaicans in Detroit. They do not like us. They keep to themselves they call out soca idiot music Nicole is different to the norm. I guess bc she's cultured. In Ny you might get a different experience where they maybe a bit more polite but they have an air about them where they think they are the only island country in the Caribbean and they are the best at everything you see the conversations online and arguments that makes no sense. The few Jamaican people I know who are warm are very beautiful and intelligent I can't understand some of their patios but all the same warm.
❤ Nicole is so pleasant, enjoyed her take on Tobago 🇹🇹 .Thank you for representing 🇯🇲 🙌
Thanks so much
Another great interview Xavier . Nicole, you’re such a beautiful lady. The smile, the intellect and intelligence, the warmth!! Truly lovely. Now, as a Jamaican with a Tobagonian friend for many years, you have answered so many questions I had about her in terms of her guarded but warm demeanor. I have been invited to visit Tobago and haven’t gone yet. Your enthusiasm and love for your adopted country will spur me on there pretty soon. Thanks again Xavier. Walk good
Thank you. I enjoyed doing this interview so much.
I really like this interview as someone from Trinidad, thank you Nicole , all the best in your stay here. Thanks, to the content creator for showcasing this channel.
Thank you. I enjoy this segment and I still like Jamaica KFC.
Thanks for your sincere comments comments. Trinidad has always been a true melting for Caribbean migration. All the best!
Beautiful interview. I believe that we are one people dropped off on different islands. I love our Caribbean islands every last one
So glad you did this interview, because I've thought about moving there from America.
Glad you liked it.
We say later that means goodbye, glad you had a nice stay in my home Tobago.. my beautiful Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹 🇺🇸
Yes, I enjoyed my time there
Great interview Nicole - you really represented Tobago well !
Tobago is really a totally distinct country compared to Trinidad. It reminds me of Portland actually & the culture is really similar to Jamaica. I am Jamaican, I live in Trinidad & got married in Tobago. My Tobagonian peeps look after me by making me my Jamaican favorites by special order.
When I need my Jamaican style sweet potato pudding it is made by a Tobagonian who fix me up the way I like it - no cassava, no pumpkin, must have coconut milk and crusting on the top & sides. Thanks Nariba from Tobago !
My Jamaican style tamarind balls are also made by a Tobagonian - no garlic, no pepper, no shadon beni (LOL). Thanks Miss Pam from Tobago !
Sweetest guineps (chennet in T&T) also comes from Tobago. Thanks Miss Joy from Tobago !
Tobago crab & dumpling is di boss - yum, yum, yum.
There's nothing like tobago chennet.🇹🇹🇨🇦
The PM of T&T is also from Tobago so to are many popular famous individuals that represented Trinidad and tobago
It's really a little jamacia in terms of beauty, athletics ability, demographic and landscape as a trini I always enjoy my visit to Tobago can't imagine our country with both islands
Thanks Sharon!
Agreed, as a Jacan married to a Tobagonian also!
Lovely story of her life n T&T from Nicole. Great interview Xavier 👍🏼
Intrestinng interview she is so pleasant.I realy enjoy this interview. Thanks Xavier.

Xavier how comes u ask a question and running away from the answer 😅😅😅. Interesting interview and she’s so pleasant
🤣😂😅 - When he heard that KFC in Trinidad is better than in Jamaica, he wanted to move on to another question. 😅🤣😂
😂😅😂
Yes girl that so true .,just like myself not eating No lizard
You still eat chicken lm sure, All birds and chicken evolved from lizards 🦎 😋
Pleasant young lady

As a Jacan living in Trinidad, all of Nicole's experiences with Trinbago I agree with...down to the KFC😂! Nicole, the only thing I would say is when I land in Jamaica I must have authentic jerk and hardough bread, cyah get dat in Trinbago😊.

Excellent interview:) I am half Jamaican and Trinidadian or Tobagoian not sure which because my father was from Trinidad or Tobago and took off when I was twelve years old and never looked back. Maybe one day will make a visit. Enjoyed!!
What's great about these islands is that you can travel around and see everything in a few days
Long time since I've stayed put watching a video...to the end.So articulate,accurate...really well done!
I TOTALLY AGREE!

This is such an informative series. Nicole did a great job in representing the Tobago Experience👌. If you've never been to Tobago..you're missing out. Book a trip!🥳
1:21 You obviously have NO issues at all . Wow ! I thought she was like 22,25 there about . Now I'm evaluating my life ...😁😁😁 She could truly pass for someone in their early twenties. Good genes or lifestyle ( perhaps a bit of both ) . Not ah crack in ah har black .
My Tobaggoiabs would get you for that rural thing😂
Trini ways of saying goodbye -- We go ketch up / Ah go see yoh
Trini here... so proud of my friend Nicole. ❤

Went to Store Bay 2 months ago, and was excited for my Nigerian husband to try, crab and dumplings. Sour girl gave us cold crab and dumplings, she was so sour, we did not bother ask her to heat it up.
But we loved Tobago, will never eat in Store Bay again
Yes, sometimes Tobagonians do not have the best service attitude fih true but mi love Tobago still.
Yes i agree pigoen point is beautiful and nyloon poo.
Nylon poo 💩? You must be talking about the jamaican 💩 crab 🦀 lady.
Trini living in Saint Lucia here. I have had the pleasure of working with Jamaicans throughout my career and they were the best people ever! I am a Caribbean regionalist through and through! As the late great Black Stalin sang, we need more regional integration. We should have long been like the EU, one currency, one passport, one economic bloc and freedom of movement.
That was done long before the EU was formed!! It was called the West Indian Federation and Jamaica is the one that crashed it.
HEAR HEAR!!👍🏾💯
@@jabaltariq4606you had to go there didn’t you? just like a true old time trini, you couldn’t resist. and no I’m not Jamaican in case you were wondering.
@@anthonyblackman7669it's the truth the jamaicans crashed it, facts don't care about your feelings 💯
@@jabaltariq4606 yes we pulled out of a Federation that did not have our interest and rightfully so...
Hi Nicole
🇯🇲🇹🇹🇯🇲🇹🇹🇯🇲🇹🇹 one love❤
Ah gone yeah allyuh....I am leaving.
Later cuz year ! Later tomorrow tomorrow
I don’t know why Jamaicans would want to leave from a small developing nation to a smaller developing nation.
Very ignorant comment. T&T is more advanced than Jamaica in many ways, and has more opportunities. T&T development status is very different to many other Caribbean Islands...
It is a high income country and is considered a develop country.
Better economy. Lower cost of living. And life journey. We are allowed to live anywhere. Sometimes opportunities are better elsewhere depending on your field. Best 20 years of my life so far.
Lovely..Jamaicans are living some of their best lives here in T&T , they love it here and we love them.
Really like this lady..
