Well i believed its no fault of Jamaica not having strong Caribbean links as T&T there Geographic location places them to the North Greater Antilles with the Cayman islands and some very cazy neighbors, whereby T&T is far south of the eastern Caribbean lesser Antilles where most of English speaking Caribbean islands located, many embassies and international services are located in Trinidad persons of the smaller islands visited Trinidad to access those services
My both parents mother and father were from Grenada and Barbados finds alot of that in Trinidad and tobago always some Caribbean links from your parents✌️

Trinidadians love Jamaicans and Jamaicans love Trinidadians. Just the few who like to fight would start nonsense. We love our little banter and comparison good natured argument, but we love each other. That has been my experience. There are over 19,000 Jamaicans in Trinidad and we love them. I totally enjoyed this interview. Thank you.

Not in USA Jamaicans do not treat trinis well. I have had so many bad experiences with Jamaicans in Detroit. They do not like us. They keep to themselves they call out soca idiot music Nicole is different to the norm. I guess bc she's cultured. In Ny you might get a different experience where they maybe a bit more polite but they have an air about them where they think they are the only island country in the Caribbean and they are the best at everything you see the conversations online and arguments that makes no sense. The few Jamaican people I know who are warm are very beautiful and intelligent I can't understand some of their patios but all the same warm.

Another great interview Xavier . Nicole, you’re such a beautiful lady. The smile, the intellect and intelligence, the warmth!! Truly lovely. Now, as a Jamaican with a Tobagonian friend for many years, you have answered so many questions I had about her in terms of her guarded but warm demeanor. I have been invited to visit Tobago and haven’t gone yet. Your enthusiasm and love for your adopted country will spur me on there pretty soon. Thanks again Xavier. Walk good

Great interview Nicole - you really represented Tobago well !
Tobago is really a totally distinct country compared to Trinidad. It reminds me of Portland actually & the culture is really similar to Jamaica. I am Jamaican, I live in Trinidad & got married in Tobago. My Tobagonian peeps look after me by making me my Jamaican favorites by special order.
When I need my Jamaican style sweet potato pudding it is made by a Tobagonian who fix me up the way I like it - no cassava, no pumpkin, must have coconut milk and crusting on the top & sides. Thanks Nariba from Tobago !
My Jamaican style tamarind balls are also made by a Tobagonian - no garlic, no pepper, no shadon beni (LOL). Thanks Miss Pam from Tobago !
Sweetest guineps (chennet in T&T) also comes from Tobago. Thanks Miss Joy from Tobago !
Tobago crab & dumpling is di boss - yum, yum, yum.
