One of the best interviews! Dewayne knew his stuff about his current country. He kept the conversation flowing without Xavier having to ask too many questions. Dewayne seemed very happy, which is wonderful.
Nice that he reconnected with his childhood friend from watching this series.
And, yes, Xavier, Jamaicans are surely advertising KFC and Tastee/Juici patties on almost EVERY interview. They need to be paid by these companies. 😀

I'm glad you knew how to say "goodbye" in an informal way. A lot of these interviews I've watched, when the interviewee is asked this question, the response is that he/she does not know, and he or she has been living in the country much, much longer than you've been living in Bahrain, which is only 3 or 4 years. I never quite understood that. I would imagine "Hello" and "Goodbye " are at least a couple of the first phrases one would pick up in a foreign country.

DeWayne's interview was powerful. Blessings! I can see he's having a great time in Bahrain.👏I had a colleague who went to teach in Bahrain and wrote back to say she enjoyed being there. I've lost touch with her, so I don't know if she's still there. When you mentioned the US military base, I remembered that, and also her saying, there was loads of entertainment.
