Wow I'm really loving the explanation for the "anti-jump" pattern. It helps me to think of it more like a superhero taking off to fly. I'm dying to get to a trackman to see some numbers
I understand this except one partnwhere Jason bends his knees on backswing compared to extending the trail leg to extend for maximum distance. Should you extend then shift lead knee toward target to get weight on ball of front foot while you are squatting a bit keeping the trail shoulder back?
Good stuff. I did have one question. The softening of the legs in the backswing seems to be in direct opposition with those who think you should be trying to push with your right foot on the backswing to make your right hip go up and to improve your shoulder turn. Is the softening of the legs just a drill to prepare yourself to jump in th downswing? Thanks in advance, really enjoy the content
I'm very curious about a caveat here. I have a theory that my clubs are too long which is making me delay the vertical force. And your experience have you ever seen that be an issue? So for example my clubs feel too long so I can't just fully extended impact cuz I feel like I never going to catch the club up yet when I choke down dramatically like three or four inches I can time it perfectly but the only issue is I don't have any speed. But the contact is amazing in the ball flight is amazing it's just much shorter. Is it possible that equipment would completely throw off your timing is my question?
@@jacobr4558 .. well buy a second cheaper set and cut them down and regrip them and find out and then come back on here and let us all know how you got on. It’s a very bad situation if you can’t find an expert fitter but anyway good luck, I look forward to hearing back from you🙄
I want to suggest that you do the feet-force graphic from the front of the player just like the video. I would make it easier to look at the video and see the ground forces
This is mind blowing.

Great video showing how you can do a lot of work to improve the vertical force.
This is a very underrated golf instruction video.
Many thanks, we appreciate you feedback
Thank you guys again and again!!! Amazing the work that you guys do!!
:):):):):):)) Thank you
Scotty Scheffler uses this clearly when driver in hand as well as fairway woods and longer irons

Marcus Bell with Zen Golf UK has been teaching this for years GRF! Great video guys!🙏🙏🙏
These are great, how many reps of each should we be doing?
Yea good stuff here…seems like great exercises for any golfers.
Very simple golf swing - great for novice non atlhetic golfer” peak combined vertical “ so simple!
Thank you very Much Richard,
The soften sounds good on the backswing however don’t you want to extend the trail leg for long drives then shift , rock and turn

..eh go see a fitter, no?
@@cdunne1620 "fitters" are sales people not actual fitters. I have already gone to 4 different fitters and it was an absolute waste of time!

Aha, now I know how to jump for speed, couldn’t quite work it out, thanks a million for the video 👏
.. could this be done with irons to a lesser degree to gain distance with the irons or would it ruin the accuracy and low point
