Well Ive broken down and gone searching for any online subs of this series to understand what this is all about and managed to find Kuuga and Kiva in full and most of Agito, and I must say after watching the intro scene to Kiva you have got me hooked. Congratulations, you have managed to get another convert.
My vote is for you to review them by set. It's really cool to see the ways a toyline evolves over time, and mushing the Riders together by series regardless of chronology of their toy creation takes away that effect. Also, please play with the Riders more. They're hilarious.
Ah, I love your Kamen Rider reviews...I've never seen the show at al, so I never have any idea what you're talking about. And yet I still find the experience strangely arousing...curious.
Emporer Kiva looks...WOW I want that. I remember watching Masked Rider as a kid, never got into Kamen Rider beyond that though, but I always liked the looks of the Riders.
I have no idea why it's still not there. o_O I may try putting up a different encode style on this one and see what happens...will have all these comments saved if I end up swapping the video.
I forgot to mention in the vid that the question would just be about the coverage of Sets 1-5, aheh. Like, Motion Revive generation 1. Any future ones I'd probably do as Sets.
To answer your question I'd like to see them as sets since I know nearly nothing about KR so I mainly just want to see the figures. And would you recommend Kickhopper? I found one cheap online and I actually sort of like the design for that character. But yeah nice review lol, I was curious about this line.
I just got the Series 2 figs in the mail for about $25 bucks including shipping. What a deal!! That's 8 figs. They look super cool out of the box, but they look even better with some detailing done with a gundam marker.
Subtitles, do us all a favor and duct tape his hands together if he ever does anything like that again! Also, I really don't care how you do future reviews as long as it doesn't cut in on Yuusha reviews. Yes, thanks to you I can't help wanting to see more Yuusha series stuff!
The Motion Revive Kamen Rider Series is freakin' sweet looking , still I wish to see the T.V. series somehow , but overall I like these figures , Thanks Vangelus.
being a fan of KR i'd love to see other reviews and opinions. if you do do other reviews i would surgest (sp) doing it by set. Doing it by series would be nice, the problem is they could always add new ones from each series later on after you've done the review and have to do an update for each new set anyway.
Out-of-context quote of the video: Vangelus: *As he spreads Kuuga's legs* You've got balls everywhere. While it would make more sense to do it by set, I think the interactions and explanations would go much smoother to do it by series, I think I'd prefer that.
LOL, now that ending was great. Well I want to see all of them, but I want to know what set each one came in, so you should do a video for each set ( 1 - 5), and then do one comparison video of all the riders together with the other riders from there show and what not. Man those figures are cool, I want kick and punch hopper.
Depends, most are okay, but the Rathalos (red guy) great sword, as well as his back up swords, can be majorly warped. The Kirin C's Cat Paw Club can also be warped, but it's not a biggie compared to the Rathalos. Otherwise, the others are fine. The Kirin A's great sword for instance, is made of a hard plastic, as are all the guns and most other accessories.
i reaaallly truly hope that SOMEHOW Black and RX gets made into these line, Along with Super 1 and Shadow moon. Probably never gonna happen.... BUT GOOD GOD it would be so damn awesome.
There coming out with Kos-Mos and T-Elos Motion Revives from the Xenosaga series. Even though it's not Kamen Rider, at least we know there continuing with the line.
If Bandai combined the aesthetics of the Motion Revive Kamen Riders with the level of detail of SIC Kiwami Tamashii, and hybridized the engineering between the two of them, then they'd essentially make full on mini-Figuarts, or at least as close as they could at the 3 3/4 inch scale.
Never seen the show but those are some sweet figures. I don't like the guy with the busted helmet though. It just doesn't look right to me. Either his head is leaned up against the part that's open, or his head is really wide and misshapen judging from the proportions shown.
plz do more motion revive reviews because i just bought this set and i want to buy more but i dont know which figures come in which set so could you plz do more motion revive reviews

Whichever approach I DON'T do, I'll throw together a quick vid showing people what the figures look like organized in that way. :D
Will watch when HD is available. Can't wait.
Yeah, continuity on how I review these is definitely making for a convincing point.

Thanks!
You've got to take into account that I uploaded this video 8 months ago. ;)
It's awesome and preordered!
I admit I forgot what the base Kiva form looked like at times, late in the series. XD
Yeah, it's tricky...either way, I think I'd end up referencing things outside of what's being reviewed. XD
Ah, I love your Kamen Rider reviews...I've never seen the show at al, so I never have any idea what you're talking about. And yet I still find the experience strangely arousing...curious.
Kickhopper's indeed a nice one, though he's very simple. No handheld weapons or extra hands.
Emporer Kiva looks...WOW
I want that.
I remember watching Masked Rider as a kid, never got into Kamen Rider beyond that though, but I always liked the looks of the Riders.
It's on sale for fairly cheap at HLJ
I have no idea why it's still not there. o_O I may try putting up a different encode style on this one and see what happens...will have all these comments saved if I end up swapping the video.

Sweet
usually $50ish give or take 10 bucks for a box of 8, though deals spring up here and there.
Yay, finally in HD so I can Watch!!!

And would you recommend Kickhopper? I found one cheap online and I actually sort of like the design for that character.
But yeah nice review lol, I was curious about this line.
I was kinda bland in this vid- wasn't sure how to cover multiple figures at once. *shame*
Cool to see some more Kamen Riders
Fall harder, Yen! Faster! Join us down here by the Canadian dollar!
we're waiting dude for over a YEAR!!!
Hahaha, thanks muchly :D
You can find a lot of the mid-to-late 2000s series fully subbed by TV-Nihon. :D
Jackie!!
Woo!
Rider 1 was the 'secret' figure in series 4, while Rider 2 and V3 were both in Series 5.
Damn straight
Now I HAVE to get one, for figures that size their pretty frickin sweet!
HD IS FINALLY UP YAAAAY
Only took like 10 hours, haha
AWESOME!
you should review them by series , but without forgetting mentioning from wich wave they come from
i can not believe you brought back that joke at 4:35
It does look similar, but it's not the Microman frame. :D These are also a slightly softer plastic.
40 bucks is usually how much a box of 8 goes for, unfortunately. But go check HLJ- Series 2 is up on sale for like 12 bucks!
I know they're awesome! If only Hasbro would make some clone troopers from Star Wars like this I would be ridiculously happy.
"Why the hell did she do that?! What is going on?!"
To be honest, the Emperor Kiva figure looks cooler to me than the actual suit. XD
GREAT
Ohhh I'll find a way. >:D
Just two times, in '07 and '08.
Welcome to my train of thought when I saw the size comparison pic. *cries*
Motion revive Kamen Rider looks great with Joes.
The only problem with that is that Ryuki has got like no Motion Revive coverage at all so far (though I hope that changes!)
I just got the Series 2 figs in the mail for about $25 bucks including shipping. What a deal!! That's 8 figs. They look super cool out of the box, but they look even better with some detailing done with a gundam marker.
Balls have been clarified via Annotations. :O
I didn't really have any interest in the non-Rider Motion Revives unfortunately. :(
But updatedude has been a badass and covered your question. XD
Couldn't resist it. >.>
That joke is from Kamen Rider Blade, which Vangelus has a figure of. Hunt through the episodes at TV-Nihon and you'll find it.
To be fair, it's a combination of Blade being like 4+ years old and my not giving away allllll the context. ;)
Denebuuuuu!
Motion Revive hasn't done any older suits like Shadow Moon so far
It's a bit funny looking, but I give 'em big leeway considering the scale.
I have tiny hope for Black, since he's getting a Figuarts.
I just got a Fury Files figure, so now I can add Marvel Universe to the 3-3/4 inch scale. XD
thats the kinnikuman microman body! no doubt about it!!!
Subtitles, do us all a favor and duct tape his hands together if he ever does anything like that again! Also, I really don't care how you do future reviews as long as it doesn't cut in on Yuusha reviews. Yes, thanks to you I can't help wanting to see more Yuusha series stuff!
Unfortunately there aren't any 555 Motion Revives yet. :( Sets 1-5 only covered Hibiki-onwards.
They aren't- Motion Revive figures are a good 2.5 or so inches shorter than Figuarts.
I wish they made mighty morphin power ranger figures with this articulation
There is always a sacrifice of less figures in a wave for more detail.
Fan edit!
I say review them by series. But at the end of the day, it's all good. Whatever you wanna do.
The Motion Revive Kamen Rider Series is freakin' sweet looking , still I wish to see the T.V. series somehow , but overall I like these figures , Thanks Vangelus.
yeah i want u to review more kamen riders..... by series i prefer and good review
I say review by set. that way, you won't have to re-review anything
You know, in light of those recent Subtitles-tan drawings, The Subs getting all gooey over Garren is put in an...interesting context.
You can indeed- that's how one can make a DoGaBaKi Kiva. :D
speaking of which I think theses are the only other Kiva figures that can move... Apart from the not very loved Armor Trans series which I LOVED.
I've got 'em all already, hehe. That's why I figured I'd put it up to a rickity comments-based vote. XD
being a fan of KR i'd love to see other reviews and opinions.

Yaguruma is a massive piece of mancrush. D:
That one was Kamen Rider TheBee (ZaBee). :D
Kamen Rider Drake would look good on the blue Arcee, I think.
awsome buy aperently i cant find common riders any where in usa stores i like common rider because its awsome
LOL, now that ending was great. also to note, According to some guy in TvNihon Forums, Kuuga is actualy the most strongest rider according to statistics..
On the bright side, you still get 8 figures for that. :D Just two are random doubles.
Thank you for clarifying Kuuga's balls.
I do love pointing things out to make you go back and edit some more. Isn't that right, The Warrior?!
i ordered yuuto, den-o, gatack, and the bee
by series, it makes buying decisions easier. Also call me when the make a Saga
You can go ahead and watch it but I think they're are other series that are..more important than it.
I would if I could find Kabuto and from my understanding I would have to watch all of the last 9 shows to understand Decade.
The coverage of balls has been clarified via annotations. :O
i reaaallly truly hope that SOMEHOW Black and RX gets made into these line, Along with Super 1 and Shadow moon.
Probably never gonna happen....
BUT GOOD GOD it would be so damn awesome.
Kiiiindasorta but not really. I might try a kit review sometime if I can think of a format.
i would like by series and great review
Balls have been clarified via annotations. :O

Dunno- unfortunately they're out of my budget right now. :(

I do plan to do some Joes sometime. :D
by series please! great reviews im so excited to build my collection!
nice

I want to see the other Kamen Riders in their own reviews. : D
first kamen rider suit was the blue one
plz do more motion revive reviews because i just bought this set and i want to buy more but i dont know which figures come in which set so could you plz do more motion revive reviews
I just picked up the Iron Men from Fury Files and...yeah, thanks to Motion Revive, I ended up underwhelmed. ;_;
