- Part 298 of L&L 1981 (LO, just think this is a good place to stop)
Luke and Laura and an intimate conversation on the docks about how they want their wedding to be (I definitey think this is the way it should be NEXT time!! ; ) ), and some other things.

Ohhhh...I just can't enough of Luke Spencer: self-effacing sense of humor...the way he snaps/barks (yells!)...his passion...down to earth personality...sensitivity....they made Luke's character just awesome. I know TG and GF are terrific actors...but it's scenes like this these that make me wonder...if at any time did their acting spill over into real life feelings for these two. That would have been a beautiful thing...
TG is 16 years older than GF. But that has not stopped other couples.
I don’t think they dated. He is way older than her. He hid his personal life to the media the whole time. He was never married.
@@TinaPorreca He supposedly has been with his current partner for quite a number of years. I hope he is happy! AG had a kinda sad life at the end.
I think AG knew Genie was having problems here, and you can kinda see his worry!
@@reneehollenbeck5824: It bugged AG to death! Someone shoulda told him about Bogart and Bacall. He was 25 years her senior, yet they were one of the MOST SEXY couples in Hollywood! I think AG always had body issues; don't know why, he's really good looking!

They were in every newspaper, TV, Magazine front covers, it was amazing. No soap couple has very been that popular

Susseq IF there is a next time yes they should get married just the two of them on the docks. :) It would be really awesome if Luke and Laura remember that. :) *sigh* :( Them getting married on the docks is only a dream tho. :( Susseq! Don't make me sad. :( Oh to late. Now I'm depressed. :(

There is a great chance that the 30 mill who tuned into the wedding that day, is a record that will last forever. It was in the papers in Chicago at the time. They really made history. I can't see 30 million people tuning into a soap these days, especially when soaps are becoming extinct.
Nope...won't happen. It's not just a record for soap watching though...its a record for most watched daytime episode of anything.

So Luke aches for her every moment of the day during the left handed boy s/l and they make love one whole time and now he's excited about waiting?? I'm not buying the BS the writers are selling, this is crazy!! I don't think Laura would be cool with it either, she has looked depressed throughout the sticky door era because they weren't close. I'm not sure why they played the story out this way but it's not believable and it's weird. 🙃🤨
Well gee, the wedding didn't turn out like they wanted at all. Guess there was to much pressure from friends and family(I don't remember) but they didn't seem to mind the big hoopla in the end.
I try.... either a cliff hanger.. or a poignant L&L moment!!

Hmmm but there was the attic stuff... which part of me thinks Luke took seriously because he said to Laura in the 08 return "when we got re-married" (not almost)... and didn't ever call her his ex-wife.
These scenes they share on the docks is why I believe when Luke left Port Charles in 2015 and walked into the fog on the docks, he and Laura should have had at least a final goodbye. Maybe even had them decide to travel the world again together and rediscover their incredible love for each other. Don't get me wrong I am so happy that GH signed Genie to a contract, and we have her all the time now, but I just wish Luke and Laura had a happy ending.
Current day GH has enough of that going on that I am wearing on my FF button on the DVR!!! Sorry not a second worth of space on any of the 5 hard drives I use for baby mobster's arrival into the world! LOL
