True! It must be so hard to translate from english to japanese. Half the meaning gets lost cause you need more time and more syllables to express the same meaning. i can really imagine the translaters having a hard time with this one because there is so much subtext.
i read in the comments to the chinese version that they probably cut the word "older sister" for cultural reasons because having the older sister be like a mother is kind of a given. Just thought thats interesting.

What makes you say that?
I speak Japanese (not fluent) and it is hard to translate English to Japanese and vice versa. Both of the languages are different. I had watched the Japanese dub then the English dub and there are big differences.

@@black.I0tus im just saying, learning languages through things that are appealing to the students is a good way to go about educating them. It doesnt have to be anime. Listening to music and learning the lyrics, reading books and writing stories, kids could learn a lot more with better methods than what's done in typical schools that are too by-the-book

Girl... I watched it in English and tried listening to the French version... It just does not do it for me even as a native speaker
They really nailed it with similarities of eng voice actor!
Especially since pretty much all Japanese voice actors are trained to sing (mostly j-pop and idol songs) so to do this song which sounds like speaking is impressive.
